I bought a diamond tennis bracelet for my girlfriend. The staff was helpful. She answered questions. There was a sale going on and the prices were great. They have a pretty large inventory of jewelry. The selection was good. The atmosphere was quiet no pressure. I would buy from JCPenneys again. JCPennys is connected to the mall so if they dont carry what you are shopping for you can find it near by. JCPennys is located at Valley River Center which is a big mall so if you have a lot of shopping to do this place can be a one stop shopping location, but get there early! There are many stores and many things to see. Parking is pretty good. Around the holidays it gets pretty busy, but I have never had trouble finding a parking space. It's clean and they have a large food court, with all kinds of food to choose from. Like I said I have been there many times and I will return there many more im sure. I would recommend.

Was judged for my purchase by a cashier. I found a cute denim jacket in the store and chose a larger size because I wanted a baggier look. I went up to the cashier to purchase it and she said "jeesh! ... is this for you?" followed by "you know this is an xl???" with laughter. Felt embarassed and judged. Other than that, many of the other workers are extremely kind and the store is neat 🙂

Had a exceptional shoping experiance at the Eugne JC Penney store today. I was looking for men's dress slacks and Ray, a store associate, came up and asked if I needed help. She was very friendly and went the extra mile to help me find just the right slacks. Thank you Ray!

Great service and still has a good selection of products for in-person, local shopping. I was able to get what I needed for a last minute trip.

Worst customer experience in 7.5 years at any store. Moved back to the area and was my 2nd trip in. 1st wasn't horrible but this time zero communication, no response when asking questions to floor employees, and checkout lacked almost the entire what we call in customer service "the perfect transaction." 30 years of successful customer service experience tells me this store needs a major change to stay in the game.

There is no wheelchair access to your store in valley River Mall Eugene Oregon. I watched several older people trying to get in or out of your doors which is not automatic. These individuals had to maneuver their wheelchair or walkers and saw it was very difficult for them. The doors are right next to your check out register none of the employees helped. Your isles are so crowded we get through them. Step up JC Penney and help your disabled.

There is always an employee nearby to talk to, but they do not actively engage you on a regular basis. Their service quality is sporadic, but it's impeccable when you are able to get someone helpful. Their clearance sections are oftentimes still marked up pretty high, but there are good deals if you're willing to spend the time searching.
