Absolutely amazing experience, Tom was the best bartender I've ever had! This place is likely the closet thing to a speakeasy that you'll find around here, super low key, great music, dim-er lighting, and fantastic drinks. I had Tom surprise me with a cocktail, and it was absolutely amazing! He did a wonderful job, and was an absolute pleasure to talk with as well. The bar was well stocked, everything was super clean, and genuinely very few negatives. The food left a bit to be desired, and no normal fries, but other than that it was fine. I will absolutely come here in the future, favorite bar I've found so far.

Vovina was a rare gem of a find, down a flight of stairs, but with a fully stocked bar and an incredibly friendly and outgoing bartender, Tom. Within minutes of sitting down, we felt like we had known Tom for a really long time, as we were all chatting together, more than happy to spend the evening in easy conversation. Despite a complete stranger sitting down next to us at the bar half-way through the night, somehow Tom was able to make us and our new companion feel like we were all dear old friends, happy to reconnect after not seeing each other for a while. Anyone can make delicious drinks (as long as they are able to follow the recipe), but it takes real effort and skill to build a genuine human connection with guests, especially when things get a bit busy. Tom was able to do just that, despite having another two or three larger parties to attend to throughout the night. He will keep us coming back for years to come, or at least as long as he continues to work at Vovina.

A small and intimate bar with trendy atmosphere and delicious eclectic food and drinks. I always love coming here to wind down with a delicious hand crafted cocktail and small plates that are just enough to sate the palette. You can't miss the truffle/Cajun tots, truly a drunk's best friend!

Ordered a sage old fashioned and fruit and cheese plate. The OF was mediocre with a leaf of fresh sage. The bartender (also the server) was very nice and made our drinks "with love". The (happy hour) fruit and cheese plate was difficult to eat with unbalanced ratios (cheese to crackers). The bathrooms are inconveniently shared in the main hallway with flatstick pub and smell disgusting.

Carson was an incredible bartender. We tried The Bumblebee and The Jalapeño and they were both incredible cocktails. We loved the ambience, service, and location! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Tucked right by the Kirkland waterfront, Vovina is the kind of spot that makes you pause and soak in the moment. The vibe is effortlessly cool—perfect for a chill date night or a sunset drink with friends. We went in without too many expectations, but honestly, the food blew us away. Every dish felt thoughtfully made, and the flavors were spot on. The cocktail menu is equally impressive—balanced, bold, and just fun to explore. Add to that the cozy lighting, friendly staff, and views of the lake? It’s one of those places you want to come back to before summer’s over.

The staff is amazing, food is quality & drinks are always rotating with the holidays/ season. The location is amazing, tons of parking options and centrally located. This is a one stop shop. Great food, great drinks & ambiance! Y’all are doing it right.
