Roma Sports Bar & Grill

It’s a cute dive bar. Bartender was great sweet guy. Pool table, multiple sports tv and music on some nights. Went to see a band and had a pizza and beer. Great Pizza

My favorite restaurant/bar in town. The staff is super friendly. The patrons become your friends. And the food is extremely tasty. With amazing prices.

I've been going to Romas for years. The drinks are on point and Adam is great. Unfortunately I can't remember the female servers name but she pretty cool as well. We sat outside and it was.relaxing, other than the occasional loud car music passing by it's a great spot to unwind after a stressful day at work. I gave three stars for the food because this particular day my wings were overly salty. The calamari was ok and the pizza crust was a little to burnt. I counted this as just an off day because I'm usually content with the food. My job hold our Christmas party here every year and they do an awesome job with the food and the service. I'm sure you will enjoy if you go and if something is not up to your standards, send it back, they are very accommodating.

I been visiting Romas for 25 years this place use to be awesome,, last 2 times i been there the same tatoo girl blonde girl told me when i should leave , mind you i dont talk much or am a trouble maker, she just decided when it was time for me to leave 3 glasses of wine last night and that was enough for her and a pool table was not being used and the guy told me i couldnt play it was only 9 pm this place is discriminating and i probaly will never go back unless i get an apology from that blonde girl with the tatoos and i tipped her very well too, and fix your side walk in back its damaged people could fall not because they are intoxicated but because your side walk in back entrance is not in good shape , you make all this money from people but cant fix your sidewalk...and put some lights in back so people could see where they walking ... it just keeps getting worst , iknow alot of people that are not going to go This place...

Food is o.k.. The drinks are good and reasonably priced. Not my crowd, but not a bad option for watching sporting events. We had food delivered recently. The Sweet and Spicy chicken wings were really good & not too small, which is nice. The Veggie Pizza was good, but if I were to offer up some constructive criticism, I’d probably recommend cooking the pizza longer or at a higher temperature to get the crust crispier.

Roma is nothing crazy, just a chill neighbourhood bar (very little emphasis on the restaurant section, most of their business is from the bar). It's not far from the local university, but most students don't know about Roma. They offer a moderate and favourable selection of local and domestic beers all at great prices. There's room for an outdoor patio, pool tables, and plenty of sports entertainment. Sports lovers will enjoy their experience, but you don't have to be a die-hard Patriots fan to enjoy your experience here. The staff is small, but they do their jobs well and with efficiency. They'll be happy to make you a drink at your request or even to offer a recommendation. My only major complaint is that they offer no viable vegan or gluten-free options for food. I am never able to purchase anything here because of the lack of a substantial vegan meal and would really look forward to a delicious plant-based burger, stew, chili, or sandwich. Other than that, it's an excellent location for socialising with locals and getting some casual drinks. If you've recently moved to New Britain, I highly recommend it.
