Taste of The 215

Huge portions, excellent service, locally owned. Had samples of the water ice (water & fruit, like Italian ice) and it was delicious and fresh. And dairy free if you’re looking for a vegan frozen treat. No pork is served here, but the owner makes his own slab turkey bacon, which is nothing like the turkey bacon you find in stores. Very kind and hospitable service—positive atmosphere. Treated like family.

LISTENNNN... THIS PLACE IS THE SPOT!!! ITS CLEAN, THE CUSTOMERS SERVICE IS AMAZING... AND THE FOOD... BEST SUB I HAVE EVA HAD. BUT LETS TALK ABOUT THAT WATER ICE DOE!!!! I HAD THE PINA COLAVA... I ALMOST FOUGHT MY HUSBAND, CUS HE ATE THE REST OF MINE.. NOTHING IS PORK..

Wow, wow, wow! We were going to another place but it was closed so we then looked at Google maps and found 215… and we are so glad we did!!! Made the mistake of eating Philly cheese steak before taking a photo but holy smokes, you have to get it when you come! The ice water is also out of this world delicious! Do yourself a favor and come in to meet Eric the owner and his family and the staff. Best service and outstanding food!

great food, very friendly, good quick service, good portions at reasonable prices. i LOVE the water ice. had a great chicken philly cheesesteak—a huge portion that could feed two—for $17 (photo is after i ate half of it)

The best spot to eat and congregate. Great food, people, service and atmosphere. Love the Water Ice and Philly Steaks You really do get a taste of the 215. I love this spot so happy they brought Philly to New Britain, Connecticut. Blessings & Love ❤️

Small shop with Philly style sandwiches. Brotherly shove and their ruben rendition were fantastic. Water ice (like shave ice but better) for the kids, they loved it. Super friendly service, small place with only a couple tables and some stools by a counter.

I was in town for training and wanted to try Taste of The 215. As a Philly native, I'm kinda apprehensive of any establishment outside of Philly that touts they do Philly style food. After meeting the owner, Eric Williams, a Philly native himself, I knew this jawn was gonna be good. Since I was doing low carb, he made me a Philly chicken sandwich (minus the bread) with all the fixings. He also hooked me up with a sample of his homemade water ice. Way better than Rita's. I would definitely hit this jawn up again whenever I'm in the area. GO BIRDS!
