Long Men Bay Hotpot 龙门湾

The hot pot is so good. I love cilantra beef, spicy beef, and potato slices. The free fried chicken popcorn is so well seasoned. And The service is amazing.

The service is good and waiters are nice and quick for serve. The best things are the self served food snacks and sweet soup. The meat quality is just ok average no surprise. The price is a little bit high since each meat plate only 10 slices but 10-13 dollars. Even though this price is not as good as Seattle hot pot, the overall experience is still good in SV area.

We were there for a late lunch and we got our table right away. We ordered half and half broth base (tomato broth base and spicy butter broth base with mild spicy). Two orders of beef slices, fresh tofu, veggies, fish fillets, smashed shrimp paste, and one order of chicken skewer. They served the food very quick and the server checked on us for one time. I would say the service was pretty good. But the spicy broth was way too spicy for both of us. And the rest was like regular hot pot stuff. The total price was definitely overpriced. I’m positive that I would not want to go back this place.

Definitely the best hot pot in the Bay Area, hands down, and I’ve been to a lot of them. Note that there are 2 kinds of spicy soup base, and the regular one is better and more fragrant than the "Chongqing special" one. Within the regular one, just getting the mild spicy (the lowest level of spicy) is enough for most people. Otherwise it’s too spicy. We drive 50 mins each way from SF and it’s totally worth it. The spicy pot is soooooo flavorful and rich; I think about it for days every time after my visit. Definitely get the super thin tofu skin, it’s heavenly if you dip it in the spicy pot.

Authentic sichuan style hotpot. But the atmosphere is not great. The noise level is above 80 dB (measured by my Apple Watch), and peaks at 95dB when staff launch dirty dishes into carts. My ears hurt after eating here. I do not recommend this place

Meat and duck blood were very fresh! A great variety of appetizers and desserts. The spicy hot pot used high quality of 牛油. Overall pretty good but a little pricy.

Undoubtedly the best of the best hotpot in the Bay Area! I've been here multiple times, and each visit leaves my stomach blissfully full. The meat quality and hot pot soup are right on the money, delivering a flavor that lingers on your tongue.
