Great Food Great Prices. We were looking for homemade fries and found this restaurant. They also had our favorite kind of fried pickles. They were both delicious and exactly what we were looking for. The staff was very nice helpful social and attentive. Thank you.

We're here mid morning on a weekday, the only ones here at this time. The place is clean, you can smell smoke fumes upon entering. Service is friendly. We're told food here is delicious and that if we left hungry it's our fault! We ordered fried pickles and mozzarella sticks, salad sampler (tuna, chicken and egg salad) and chicken fingers.The salad sampler was a 5. Salads were seasoned well served with saltine crackers, lined with slices of tomatoes and cucumbers. Everything else was good, definitely not from frozen.

UPDATE: I came back to try the bars $2 taco special (chicken or beef) on Thursday. I’ve changed my previous review because the bartender was absolutely lovely. Kind, smiled, and was super attentive. Beef and chicken tacos were AMAZING and for $2 they are definitely worth it. Great drink pours too! Previous post: I ordered 1 double crown with diet and ended up paying $23.43 (including a $3.57 tip). The bartender barely said a word to me, and the 2 gentlemen sitting next to me at the bar were HEAVILY coughing and not covering their mouths. Yeeshhhh $17.50 for 2 crowns is a bit steep for a smokey corner dive bar in Newport News. 🤷🏼‍♂️

My Neighbors’ Pub has great food, great service and a great atmosphere. It’s the only place I will go to enjoy a night out. They have a pool tournament on Wednesday nights, trivia on Friday nights and Karaoke on Saturday nights. The daily food specials are great, my favorites are Barb’s breakfast all day Saturday and spaghetti all day Sunday. The ribeye sammy and patty melt on Friday nights is delicious. The bartenders get to know you and remember what you drink the next time you come in. The owners care about their business and do whatever they can to make sure everyone has a great time. This is by far the cleanest place I’ve been to in a long time.

Great food at a wonderful price. The place has a great cigar area where you can indulge inside while watching the game. Yes, for all of you that don't like smoking and do the exaggerated had wave and say it stinks. It is completely separate from the main bar. They have a breakfast meal that is served all day.

This place is right around the corner from where we live. The food is good & prices are reasonable. They always have something going on from game night (card & board games) to NFL Sunday Ticket.

So nice to find this local treasure. All the drinks were we had were great. The food was awesome. Try the burger, it was real and not some frozen over priced patty. We were very pleased with our bartender. Who was very easy on the eyes, provided great service and was very delightful. The place was pleasantly clean, and smelled nice as well, which is nice to see. Will definitely be back.
