Tandy Leather Phoenix - 141

Wasn't even here to do anything to do with leather , but I watched a gentleman with what looked to be the monster energy drink symbol tattooed on his right cheek, yeah I know and we are all thinking it. Anyhoodle, seeing how he just exited a Jeep Wrangler of all jeeps, and there was a Jeep Wrangler next to him about the same year as the Jeep that I have, which broke part of the axle, and I had a question about it for this gentleman, but upon approaching him at the store's front door and opening it. He gave me a look of disgust like I was repulsive, and I asked him, Hey, could I ask you a question about a Jeep, and he responded very coldly, very rudely "I don't know nothing" he says, so I responded with, "wait, you know nothing about your Jeep at all? You can't even tell me anything about this axle or anything?" And he said very cold like and a little more aggressive that he didnt know ANYTHING about his Jeep. Crazy , how just trying to be a friendly human and ask for a little bit of advice or help from my fellow man, if thats what he thinks he is, well how it can turn into something bigger and completely off topic. Maybe I need to unretire these hands.

Went in today as a newbie. Immediately met Jesse. He was a great listener, very patient and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and then offered me a seat back where they do their classes. He brought out some leather scraps and a couple edging tools and a burnisher. He showed me how to use them and came to check back several times. Always offered advice but let me make mistakes. He is a star. I’m hooked. Tandy has my business.

First time in, they were busy but still spent time with me and helped me get everything I needed for a beginner! Very friendly, very helpful, not rushed and I can not wait to go back and spend more money on all the cool stuff they have in there!

Excellent service from a knowledgeable staff that always go the extra mile for their customers. I believe Cody is the manager here, or at least he should be, took the time to answer multiple questions regarding product usage and explained questions that even the internet was unclear about. Even more impressive was that he offered a demonstration for a product that I was initially apprehensive about. Turns out, it’s a perfect and economical fit for my needs. I can’t praise these guys enough over at Tandy as this level of customer service is pretty much unheard of these days.

Always has a great variety of supplies I need and always in stock not to mention a great price! Friendly employees too!!
