I’m usually a big supporter of Ross and shop here often. I really appreciate the value and variety they offer. However, this location has a noticeable weakness when it comes to ADA compliance and accessibility. During my recent visit, I saw a woman in her late 60s or early 70s assisting an even older woman in a wheelchair, and it was very difficult for them to get through the entrance doors. I was able to hold both doors open so they could enter, but it shouldn’t require another customer to step in just to make entry manageable. What was disappointing is that an employee was nearby behind the front desk organizing hangers but did not come over to assist. Accessibility and customer awareness should be a priority, especially when elderly or mobility-limited customers are clearly struggling. Other Ross locations seem to have addressed accessibility more effectively. I hope this store can take steps to become more ADA-friendly and attentive to customers who may need assistance. I genuinely support Ross as a company, but this is an area that needs improvement.
I like Ross stores and have shopped at them a lot. This one in particular needs to work on training their employees though. About five minutes after I went into the dressing room, the attendant walked in and announced that we all needed to get out and go to the dressing rooms at the front of the store because she was closing this one. I was like, okay, weird, but okay. I immediately start changing out of the dress I was trying on and back into my overalls. Less than a minute later, she walks back in and shouts, you guys need to hurry up. Mind you, it was the middle of the day so they were not closing the store, and there was only a few of us in there. I walked out without buying anything even though I probably would have otherwise, but it wasn't worth the hassle or the attitude. I'll be avoiding this location in the future.
I think they should be more helpful when people are trying to use the fitting room 2 persons on the fitting room on the back today @4:10pm told me those on the back were closed to go on the ones on the front which were also closed and waited there for help and nothing.
The isles in the store are so close together that you cannot get a cart down them. Then they have so much stuff on tables that when I tried to go down everything fell off it I will Never Shop in Ross in provo again. It was a terrible experience. Then the door alarms won't let you take them outside I had four kids with me I will Never at Ross in Provo Utah again
I like the Ross store because they have really good quality clothes for less money if you're looking for some pretty nice hoodies and the other things that they have with clothing that are good place to go by the East Bay Provo area by the University Avenue Freeway Exit you should check them out they're a cool store
It is really rude to push your customers out when the store has not even come to closing hours. The manager and an islander lady with red hair had bad attitude kept threatening the customers the cashiers would stop working at 10 and this was about every 30-40 seconds. The only one that showed interest in her job was Sarah even offered bobble wrap she found and she was not event checking me out. This is not a way to have happy customers. And I’ll be calling the store and asking to speak to a manager and ask to train them better when it come to closing. Also the girl with red hair started closing the store early.
I had a really upsetting experience at Ross today July 31 ,during the closing shift. A checkout employee — a blonde woman in her 50s, not wearing a name tag — was extremely rude and unkind to my baby. My newly walking toddler was gently pushing a cart near us while we were checking out. Instead of showing patience or understanding, she forcefully pushed the cart back, hard enough that it could have hurt him. She completely ignored him, and when we said, "He’s just pushing it," she replied with an attitude that was unnecessarily rude. There was no need to treat a child like that. Her behavior was cold, impatient, and completely inappropriate in a family-friendly store. I hope Ross management takes this seriously. Families should feel safe and respected when shopping.
