Target

I will never shop at any Target ever again. We were scammed on Black Friday. We purchased a Christmas tree for $45. (See pictures for reference) The tag clearly shows the regular price at $75 with a 40% discount. $45. What a deal! We got home and noticed there was a weird little white sticker on the box. We carefully peeled off the label and to our surprise $50 was on the box! The regular price was $50 and we paid $45! A 10% discount. Not 40%! I know it’s not a lot of money. It’s about being honest and having integrity. Thank you Target for showing me your true business practices. I hope whoever reads this will never shop at Target again.

Target’s Grocery section is pitifully small (barely a step above a gas station convenience store) This was especially a miss for this target because there is not any standard grocery store in south Provo. They would have had flooding foot traffic from most of south Provo. Because they have small foot traffic- especially for groceries- half of their food is rotten and expired. I hope they completely remodel and make half of that store groceries. There are tons of clothing stores competing with them- but no grocery stores, they would have the market share.

A manager there used to always say hi to me as a shipt shopper, but there was this one incident where they couldn't scan the barcode- and some tensions were exchanged back and forth. I was stern with them about the correction of my order and followed protocols through shipt. The manager said she worked at this target for 5 years and knows how to do her job, and I also responded that I know what I'm doing as a shipt shopper for 2 years. I followed the protocols and I know she didn't like how I stood my ground. I wanted to show her that I was responsible and honest. But some people don't like you standing up for yourself and taking your own job seriously. So after that incident- she never said Hi to me again. She was the only one who had good customer service and was a bright girl. I liked her a lot! It's dissapointing to see how small hearted and timid these managers are. I guess she showed her true self and she's not so welcoming and kind after all. On my end, it wasn't an issue to me, I didn't take it personal. But I just thought they'd be the bigger person and showed professionalism and welcome everyone who comes through those doors as usual. But nope, after one incident, they're a completely different person. Hm. Interesting.

I visited the Target located at the mall in South Provo on a Friday night. The store wasn’t very busy, which made for a smooth and stress-free shopping experience. Although I didn’t have much interaction with the employees, I was able to easily find everything I needed, including baby items, shoes, and a body pillow. I also stumbled upon some high-quality hangers. I’m really glad South Provo has a big Target, and I’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Totally not invalidating all the one-star reviews I think they have valid opinions, I just dont need the store to be the same way that they do. I went in on a Friday night for fun and I thought the store was awesome. Very fun to have a target on this side of town and attached to a mall. And the bathrooms are super clean. I’ll probably come again 🤙🏼

Do not come to the store if you are buying more than five items! It is Christmas time a.k.a. probably the busiest time of the year and I just left the store at 10:30 AM and they had zero checkout lines open. I asked the one person who was monitoring all of the self checkout lines if they really didn’t have any checkout lines open and he said yes sorry we’re short staffed. I then had to self check out my entire cart more than 60 items ($534.70 total) that I had spent over an hour and a half shopping for or otherwise I would’ve left my cart. It was extremely frustrating and just mind blowing that at this time of year they would have no one at a register.

Nice target. Single level in an old mall but it has all the things you need and nice helpful staff. Lots of self check out lanes or open registers. Very clean and organized. Clear signs and open layout.
