Nordstrom Rack

I just went to return a few items after Christmas. The line was longer than Christmas Eve! The management must have put their best employees on the counter! I was there five minutes! The line moved swiftly and efficiently. The clerks were professional and helpful. I was so impressed!

We love Nordstrom Rack, here's why: typically great quality, name brand apparel and better prices. Great service, backed by the Nordstrom name, and the location is convenient. Hope to see you there!

This is the only Nordstrom Rack near the Nordstrom Department Store in the Sacramento area. But I don't think they're getting any items from the Nordstrom Department Store, even though they're close to them. This Nordstrom Rack is always very busy. They have so many customers in there with a long line in front of the checkout counter most of the time when I'm there!

Store was busy, but fairly clean. Not as organized as their regular store, but the great prices offset that. Even with the long line, there were enough checkers that it moved quickly, sanitation procedures done between each transaction. Convenient location, plenty of parking and a large variety of different stores to get your all errands done in one trip. Very close to Galleria for the few shops they may not have.

I was there once the holiday weekend. All of there clearance items were an extra 25% off which was pretty nice. I got some really good deals.

Generally we have a positive experience at this location, but today my wife had a less than positive experience. According to the name on the receipt, the cashier’s name is Muhammad S., and Muhammad has opinions. My wife is Indian-South African, and the cashier asked her if she was from India. She said no, and he asked if she spoke Hindi, to which she again said no, but her mom speaks a different language than Hindi. The cashier then told my wife she should speak Hindi, and proceeded to put her 5 small items (hair ties and jewelry) into the largest bag available, presumably to make it more inconvenient for her (we can’t think of another reason since he seemed annoyed with her and they were clearly well stocked on the smaller/more appropriately sized bags). If Muhammad could be informed that it’s not his business if customers speak Hindi or not, that would be appreciated. Going forward, If we see him behind the counter we will certainly be walking out of the store.

Great selection and many low priced items, under $50
