We were looking for leather sofa of good quality and price and found it here! You’ll find many different furniture here. Employees always willing to help, focused on customers and not annoying. Two floors of good quality furniture! Definitely recommend this store!

The staff have an inconsistent way of working with customers. Some staff members are very kind, helpful, and pleasant to work with, but others are not very informative, don’t seem willing to spend time with customers, and are not particularly welcoming. I didn’t feel a warm or happy atmosphere from them. I used to love this store, so this was a bit disappointing, especially with some of the sales representatives.

The team at Scandinavian Designs was great and processed our order(s) very quickly. The furniture pieces were delivered and assembled with no hassle and look great. Many thx to the team! Definitely would recommend to friends/family.

We bought a TV stand and bookshelves at Scandinavian Designs San Mateo. They are simple, stylish and perfect for our small apartment. We love both of them. The manager and staff were very helpful in answering our questions and they didn't bother us a lot while we were browsing through their showroom so we can have time to feel which ones we really like. Other stores bother customers a lot because they wanted to sell fast. We are planning to buy the side table matching the tv stand. Attached are some photos.

Plenty of selections that fit every budget. The salespeople are not pushy. In fact, they are really nice and helpful. Their professional manners make our furniture shopping experience comfortable. We're satisfied with our purchases. Shout out to Pawel, the most fantastic salesperson, he was there when we purchased our sofa and the delivery crews couldn't make it upstairs. He for-saw our problem, and backed us up by providing alternatives. The end result was beyond satisfaction. We love our substitute couch. Now we're back and looking for dining chairs!

Update: Scandinavian Designs was able to resolve my problem the next day. It did take an extra trip down to San Mateo, but they swapped out the full size mattress for a queen. Gave a star back for the quick resolution, but this is not the first problem I've had with their warehouse. A few months ago I ordered a set of two paintings to be delivered and received two matching paintings. Similar to this I had to make an extra trip to San Mateo to get that swapped. Initial review: I bought a sleeper sofa here. The memory foam mattress never quite fully expanded; it always looked squished. They let me exchange it, but the replacement took 3 months to arrive. It just arrived and they ordered the wrong size! It was a full instead of a queen.

This store has a great selection of mid century modern furniture styles for any room in your house. Maryann assisted me and she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She took the time to guide me through the layout of the store so I could find the items I was looking for and was always available if I had any questions. I would highly recommend her service!
