Tommy Jack's Pub

Great little downtown Pub. We've always been greeted with a friendly smile and "Hey how ya doing?" We don't go very often but it's great to feel welcomed and we enjoy sitting at the bar. DJ is an awesome bartender/server. We appreciate the great service. The Burger Battle burger was fabulous by the way!

My friends and I came in to Tommy Jack's to try their burger battle burger and have drinks. We arrived at 4:30, before it got busy, and sat at a table next to the bar. There was one lady at the bar. There was maybe 10 people at the bar. We waited and waited. She came and cleaned the table beside us, however, she never returned. We watched her wait on a couple new groups and stood and talked to the people at the bar. Finally, after 25 minutes, we got our coats on and went to leave. She looked at us and still didn't come over. I went to the bar and asked politely if there was a reason she didn't come and take her order. She responded, "Oh, I got busy." I called her out and said, "That isn't true, we watched you and you you stood and talked and took those two groups order." I then said, "This was absolutely ridiculous." She just stared and said nothing. We then walked out. I am so disappointed. The group I was with will not be back.

Tommy Jacks is one of my favorite five bars in Sioux Falls. They always have cheap drink specials, pumping music, and enthusiastic bartenders to help you navigate. Food is on point too!!! Just gotta be sure to catch them before their kitchen closes, I think around 10 pm.

Friday night, my husband and I stopped in after midnight for a few shots after I got off of work. The petite blonde bartender messed up our drinks twice, and spoke to us as if it was our fault and was rude about it. I was willing to over-look it until my husband went back in to order just me a shot, but upon signing the tab, he couldn't get the pen to work so he took another pen off a tab which was already signed and sitting on the bar.. and the same bartender decided to throw a handful of pens at him. We really liked this bar, but after this experience, we will not be returning as long as this girl with a bad attitude is there. As a bartender, I can't imagine treating a patron so disrespectfully.

BURGER WEEK Looking it was fun! Eating it was not. Very heavy , greasy. Amazing toppings (bacon, onion straws, and ranch) Patty came well done dry. Maybe next year...Service was very well.

Nice bar. Waitress was great. Outdoor area was nice with options to entertain us like chess, corn hole, Jenga, etc. we ordered a couple burgers. Kinda disappointed in the food. The burgers were pretty tasty but tiny. More like sliders than an actual burger.

Super experience. After leaving Josiah’s due to dog hair and crowds, we found this wonderful place on Saturday lunch time. Not our usual go to, but so much fun!! Burger Battle choice and fries were awesome. Wings not crisp enough, but good flavor. I wish I knew our servers name because she was AWESOME!!!
