AC Hotel Sunnyvale Cupertino

Now that's great customer service! I am completely satisfied with the outcome of our conversation and the actions taken by Pele to rectify the issues, including staff training.||Below is my original review:| |AC Hotel Sunnyvale Cupertino|Sunnyvale, California||Super thin walls!|December 2025|I've been a Marriott member for many years. This hotel has the most paper thin walls and front entry door I've ever experienced. No problems if you're flanked by quiet neighbors adjacent and across from your room. ||Unfortunately for us, the persons across from our room brought a young dog that would cry/whimper every 5 min. I, along with other neighboring rooms, called the front desk numerous times, and security finally intervened around midnight. In the morning our next door neighbors were extremely loud (talking and laughing) starting at 6:45 am! And unfortunately, any hallway noise is super amplified, so needless to say we had a rough night. Not sure why a modern hotel doesn't have better sound proofing.||Besides the noise levels the hotel is fine otherwise. But FYI, management is not very empathetic to legitimate complaints.

Perfectly suitable hotel. Great breakfast. Comfy beds. The main issue and is kind of a deal breaker: the ceiling insulation is completely non-existent and if you have an upstairs neighbor, they’re going to wake you up when they’re moving around in their room. I had a sound machine and I still got woken up. Worse still, the hotel staff had no remedy or recourse. Not recommended for light sleepers.

Stayed there for the second time, the rooms are very nice and clean, however it's restaurant is very bad, the meat was very old and smelly, and breakfast has very limited options

The hotel room was dirty, and the check-in process was extremely frustrating. I was given a room key that didn’t work, twice, resulting in multiple trips back to the front desk. After that, I was assigned a handicap-accessible room that I did not book or request. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Overall things were nice for the first 4 nights of my stay. Then the last two nights I had issues with noise. Nothing was unusually loud or obnoxious, but it was poor sound insulation that affected my sleep both nights. Footsteps of people in the room above me. People laughing in the room next to me, next to my head. Most damning was, in the middle of the night, I could hear the buzzing vibration of a phone in the next room. It lasted some 5 minutes. I even recorded a video using my phone -- it's one of the uploaded videos, you can easily make out the buzzing sound. I would have requested to move to a different room if it were not already the last two nights of my 6 night stay. Most likely won't stay here again because I value my sleep (was traveling for work from the east coast, so sleep was already suboptimal without being disrupted like that).

Love it. The rooms are nice great lobby bar for cocktails. Local stores and restaurants walking distance. Underground parking great for unloading and loading items car is easy to get too. Ice machines in every floor near elevator and there small pieces for ice geat for inriom drinks. Fridge is a drawer very modern. Love the atmosphere. Staff is kind and helpful. Location in location location.

I had an exceptional stay at AC Hotel Cupertino! The hotel is modern, stylish, and impeccably clean, with rooms that are both comfortable and well-appointed. The staff were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. I especially appreciated the convenient amenities and the relaxing atmosphere. Whether for business or leisure, I highly recommend AC Hotel for a top-notch experience!
