Dana was extremely helpful! However, I have to edit my review. This store and specifically the manager are absolutely awful. I received my $1500 chair with a stain on it. I immediately called, explained my problem to the woman who answered the phone, and asked for Dana, my salesman. Instead I got a man who was very aggressive and rude to me. He began yelling at me before I even finished explaining my problem. He told me that the stain on my chair was my problem not his and then he threatened to hang up on me while I was asking for the phone number to file a claim on the fabric protection that I purchased. These people are just terrible and I will never purchase another piece of La-Z-Boy furniture again. I purchased a chair from Haverty’s at the same time and the process was much easier and the customer service was far and above that of La-Z-Boy. I wish I had kept all of my business there and you should, too.

Concerned Person

Do not buy from Heather or from this store. Customer service is absolutely the very worst. Once you buy a recliner they will not do anything if you have an issue with it except give you a number to call. If you call the number no one ever answers and they will not return your call. When calling Heather back she is no help. Told me each time I call the service number it only backs up calls. Ask for store manager was told by Heather he can do nothing and he is off few days. Ask if I can call corporate number was told no. Ask who owner is was I was told The Browns she believes not sure. If you want a store that will give you Customer service do not buy from this store in Tyler Texas. And for sure do not buy from Heather. Update got a call from Valerie. If I thought Heather was rude then Valerie will top her in personality. Was told sorry we only service the Tyler area once a week. So I am into the holidays and have company coming and a broken recliner. Then I send a message or complain to customer service. Im not sure the ladies name but was told she is as high up the totem pole as I can go. She is the corporate and sorry will not tell me who actually owns the Tyler tx store. So I wait. Do not buy from this store. These employees need to be fired.

The store manager Clayton was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and responsive to my questions!: Clayton was very patient while I tried most every power recliner in the store! He was able to lead me to the perfect recliner.I will go back to Clayton when I am ready for more furniture. I have been in customer service positions most of my working life, so I know good service! The only down side is the color leather I wanted for my recliner was not in stock and I had to order it. But I can't wait for it to be delivered! Thank you Clayton!!

The sales process is just as good as when MURPHY owned the franchise. The service is now thru a .big corporation with voice mail and people who don't return calls for a guestion we wanted to ask. The service rep who came for another issue, did an excellent job. He has been with Lazaboy for a number of years.

Do not buy from this store unless you want to get conned. I recently bought a set of recliners from this store. One of them was defective upon arrival as it did not sit like the store model. I was told by this store's manager, Clayton Bryant, that I would be able to return the defective chair. With this assurance, I went ahead and purchased a replacement chair. I was given the phone number of a customer service person by Clayton that would assist me with this return. "Yolanda" was probably the rudest "customer service" person I've ever talked to. Yolanda told me that I would be unable to return my defective chair, and that Clayton lied to me when he told me I'd be able to return the chair. Apparently, Clayton would have already known at the store the day he sold me the replacement chair that I would be unable to return my defective chair. An utter con job. This is not your granddaddy's La-Z-Boy. The chairs don't even feel like the same quality of the older models. These people are dishonest crooks, and you should take your business elsewhere.

My Mother purchased an expensive recliner. It is too large and does not fit in her condo. She has talked with several salesman that have told her that it is past the 3 day exchange policy. It was on a weekend and she was not aware that Sunday counted as a business day. After reading the reviews it is extremely clear that this business should be shut down and the management should be let go. You should be ashamed of yourself. I intend to contact the Better Business Bureau. Someone needs to do a review on your business. I cannot believe how you treat customers.

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT buy the extended warranty from this store - you will be hustled. I just got a lecture on how it is probably my fault on the damage and they will charge me $175 to fix if the determine it not to be my fault - however if I have lifted myself off the chair I will be at fault and they determine that. I will need to pay $200 if they pick it up + $175. When I bought this chair the sales lady kept telling us why the extended warranty was so important - the extended warranty doesn't even cover the separation the chair has. Their customer service also needs an attitude adjustment! My recommendation - next!
