Schoony's Bar

I was applying for an apartment in the area, so I sat outside in the smoking area with a refreshing libation and a smile a mile wide.... I was feeling very excited, positive and happy about potentially being in my own place and no longer being homeless I looked up and watched as this dude parked his Harley Davidson nearby and made a beeline for Schoony's. I took a gulp of my evil cousin (Heretic Brewing, Fairfield CA) and said hi as I pulled a smoke out of my pack. This cool ole biker had my cigarette lit before I got my lighter in hand. I just love chivalry! He said that my smile was a refreshing change, most women have that "resting witch face" going on. I met 2 people that live at the apartment complex that I was applying for that day and I did get the apartment! Schoony's is a cool neighborhood bar. I love that I know most of the bartender's Prices are lower than downtown bars, so this is my new favorite watering hole

Cool laid back vibe with friendly and generous bartender! Tight knit community. Pinball, TVs, Tables and Bar seats, juke box, and PAC-Man game.

Exactly what I was looking for. A chill, low drama place to hang out while I waited for my kids. The popcorn was a nice touch. Mellow crowd and great beer. Bartender was awesome.

Stopped in for a shot and a cocktail had a few minutes to spare. Solid little bar friendly bartender and some nice regulars. Lots of seating and fresh popcorn!

I went to Schoony's on Sunday May 4th, right around 4pm to meet up with friends from the Vacaville speed metal band, "Hate Engine," I was pleasantly surprised to see "Angela," my friend and ex-coworker behind the bar and holding court....I went to this bar twice when it was called Karin's, and I love the way the bar is laid out for a semi small room. The Happy Hour taco station is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the patrons.

Great staff and patrons. Just remodeled and looks great .

They got a new Led Zeppelin pinball machine... and Booze, How much more do ya need... Personally, they had me with the New Led Zeppelin pinball machine...
