This was truly a nice surprise for me. Thanks to my husband that just likes to take me to a new place every time we go out. It doesn’t matter where he takes me I enjoy it every time. We enjoyed the arts and found out so much about it. Why not just walk in and take a look around it’s truly a wonderful place to visit.
We watched a musical at the Covey last night, Mrs Doubtfire. Work Light Productions managed the production. Craig Allen Smith and Melissa Cambell were amazing in their rolls. Smith did an amazing job with the character of Mrs Doubtfire. His energy was infectious as he brought the story to life. Moments of thoughtful reflection and humor filled the audience throughout the performance. The entire cast and crew were wonderful, including the small musical performers that made up the orchestra. Thank you all for a remarkable and magical evening!
I attended a concert with a band who played Elvis Presley music. They were talented young men. I very much appreciated the experience. I was able to go back in time (metaphorically) and see my son and his friends playing for a competition. I felt the same pride watching and listening to such hard work come to fruition.
My daughter has had her dance recital here the last four years and we have loved it! Buying tickets online is quick and easy and being seated is similar. Seats are normal (though an older person behind me complained about them, just fyi?) and there is floor and balcony seating options, though I have never sat in the balcony section before so I can't say much about that. Overall great experience!
Clean and large. Local art is showcased on the walls. Nice theater and stage. Good visibility no matter where you sit. Parking is not so fun unfortunately. Hopefully there are plans to expand.
We've been to see Peter Breinholdt there for the past few years and we love it. Such a talented artist with a very talented group of musicians. The Covey Center is a great venue to host the show
I love the Covey center. I usually go there to take a group of senior citizens to a concert and we are never disappointed with the concerts or the staff!
