We had a wonderful experience at Ocean Park Inn as a family traveling with a young child. Upon arrival, there was some noise outside our room due to a sports game at a bar across the street, and Emily and Jonathan at the front desk went out of their way to find us another (bigger!) room that was quiet, at no extra charge. We were very grateful for their help, and it made our stay very pleasant. Also, our friends visited us for a couple hours, and the front desk staff allowed them to park in the garage for free, which was hugely appreciated. Overall, our room and the hotel were exceptionally clean, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The location is wonderful - the beach is right outside the door, the grocery store is across the street, and there are tons of food options within a few steps. All the best attractions of SD were within a short drive away. Breakfast was decent, and the pool was heated and acceptable for swimming even in January. Overall, we are very happy with our experience. Thank you!

Good amenities. Nice staff. Pier is a quick walk. Bedsheets had a strange yellow stain. Shower smelled musty and had very high water pressure. The head was not adjustable either. Bathroom provides hair products, body wash, and even lotion. Overall, decent for a short stay.

My wife and I just spent 6 days at the Ocean Park Inn. Loved it! Great location! Great room! We were on the third floor and the view from our room was amazing! Excellent staff! We enjoyed the simple hotel "serve yourself" breakfast every morning. They have Keurig coffee in the room. You get two regular and two decaf for free everyday and there is more to purchase. They have a secure parking garage underneath the hotel that is available to park in for a fee. (Around $30 a day) There is a refrigerator in the room. Nice big tv, swimming pool, hot tub. They have bikes available and beach toys available also. The location is amazing! Lots of restaurants and bars surrounding the place and the ocean front walk right behind it. I highly suggest you get a room! You won't regret it! Shout out to John the manager, Vanessa at the front desk and Andre, he fixes everything.

My favorite hotel to stay when visiting San Diego!! The customer service is wonderful, very accommodating. Kinda pricey but we'll worth it, you do have to pay for parking. Underground parking is tight and cramped. They clean the room everyday, clean towels everyday is needed when you go to the beach all the time. Small fridge for all the delicious food you'll be trying along the beach, no microwave. Breakfast is included. Pool and spa. Close to a cvs, Rafael, and a bunch of restraunts. So very worth it!

I wanted a place right on the beach and even with a crazy freak rain weather pattern for days, this place did not disappoint. From its location to parking to all the little extras, OPI lives up to its motto Hello Sunshine. Jennifer at the front desk is the best! The rooms are so cute and sunny with fun little cards like the one for the earplugs if the planes bother your sleep. Towels provided for the beach. Incredible balcony for hours of people watching (do not be put off by the homeless you will no doubt see, they are all along the boardwalk and in San Diego as well as every city in these hard times). Crystal Pier is in site and an easy walk. Even during a power outage, staff was super helpful and got me coffee. My room did not have a mini fridge-maybe others do, but was the only thing I missed. If I didn’t have a non-refundable room booked in Old Town I would have booked a third night. It was my favorite stay in San Diego. Tips: Woody’s for breakfast, Waterbar for sunset and food. If you are there when the Farmers Market is going, check it out-big and all kinds of different foods and produce.

Perfect location in Pacific Beach walkable to lots of fun restaurants and bars. This place is RIGHT ON THE BOARDWALK! I would encourage you to spring for the ocean view rooms if you can - the views are very worth it. Only drawback for me is that the building itself (although clean and nicely appointed) is older and the walls are thin. Every step of the upstairs neighbors was heard and each time any nearby room doors were let slam closed it rattles the walls. There are ear plugs offered in the room for this reason.

I really enjoyed this hotel. We had a 3rd floor ocean view room and really enjoyed the view from the balcony. The heated pool and hot tub were great additions as well. The location of this hotel is ideal - steps from the beach, short walk to the boardwalk and a ton of shops and restaurants within walking distance. No rental car required.
