Piedmont Vacation Rental

This was a great place to have Christmas with our kids. Location was convenient as there was a grocery store within walking distance. And it was a short drive to the MAX to take to the Zoo Lights. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was even games and puzzles. The owner was very nice and let us know that the house was ready early. Much appreciated! -Thank you for having us!

Absolutely lovely stay, thank you so much for having us! Felt like staying in someone’s very well kept and well stocked home. Didn’t have to worry about buying new containers of salt and oil for cooking, and all the cooking utensils were provided for. Plenty of space for socializing, eating, and sleeping for our party of 11. The hot tub was perfect. Set away from the main road so it’s quiet, but walking distance to nearby food carts, and shopping. Like most bunkbeds, the bunkbeds were a little creaky. Mention this to the owner, and he was gonna look into it. The owner was very responsive, positive, and helpful without being intrusive. It was a great experience and I would look forward to staying here again!

Lovely house with plenty of room for extended family. My husband and I stayed in one room upstairs, and my children shared the bunk room. My MIL and SIL each had a room downstairs. House was far better equipped than most. When we arrived at the airport to go home, my 12 yo discovered she didn't have her backpack. We called Gary to see if he had seen it so we could make a plan to retrieve it before our flight. He had just picked it up and very generously brought it to us at the airport. He had it to us within 20 minutes.

We came to Portland to have a visit with our son, and this charming rental home was a great find! It is cozy, well cared for, well supplied, and the host, Gary, was very welcoming and accommodating. We hope to stay here again when we return for another visit!

We loved our stay at this charming house. Our family had plenty of room to spread out, chill and just enjoy each other. Gary was a very good host - he made sure we knew everything about the house and surrounding attractions. The house was well appointed - plenty of towels, dishes and seating. Gary is an exceptionally sweet host who went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. His home is beautiful and in a great location near many intriguing neighborhoods - we explored Alberta Arts District, Peninsula Park, Mississippi Street, and downtown during our three-night stay. The house was clean and well-kept and had everything we needed, including more than enough towels and dishware. Gary was very responsive leading up to and during our stay. He greeted us upon arrival and provided recommendations on what to do and where to eat. Overall, we highly recommend Gary and his home.

Wonderful house with a responsive, considerate host in Gary. The house is pleasantly located in a neighborhood surrounded by a ton of great food and a block away from CVS & Safeway. The inside is well decorated - love the green fireplace! Everything you need is provided, and it was so clean when we checked in. Gary was always available to answer questions, and he even went above and beyond with shipping some items that we forgot at his rental to our homes. Highly recommend staying.
