I know Kara Carver, from Ignite Couples & Sex Therapy, through a mutual training. I have not only observed Kara implement successful hypnotherapy in training, but have been the recipient of Kara's hypnotherapy practice sessions. As someone who had hesitations around hypnotherapy (before going into training myself), I was amazed at Kara's ability to take me deeper into hypnosis to be able to facilitate me accessing a past life regression so that I could heal past traumas that impact me in a very real way in my current life. Each session was powerful and skillfully executed. Additionally, Kara has a unique attunement to clients before, during, and after session. She is easy to talk to. Kara listens, takes her time, and clients will feel seen in the clinical setting. As a professional and a mutual in the field, I continue to observe Kara demonstrates ongoing learning, and a practice of deep commitment to changing the world, using multiple skillsets, and new lenses that challenge the staticity of societal norms. As a clinically licensed social worker, I highly recommend Kara's clinical practice, especially the hypnotherapy practice, to navigate one's life. She KNOWS what she is doing, and is an experienced facilitator in therapy. 10/10 recommending.
