Always a great experience at this place , will definitely coming back. Always a go to wherever I visit Chicago. I didn’t had food tho but other than that. Definitely a place to go for cheap drinks and good time.

This is the most diverse gay bar. There are young gays, LGBT elders, even lesbians. The 20yos sometimes don't like Sidetrack because there are older guys here, so if that's an issue for you, you'll probably want to go elsewhere. The DL guys hate Sidetrack. It's the most unapologetically, overtly queer bar, not the seedy place to grind on someone you can't see. Now, I love all these things about it. I don't drink, and they've never pressured me about ordering something like most bars that don't have a cover do. Cons: There are often some straight girls whipping their hair in my face thinking I'm living for it when I am not.

Went in for the $3 margaritas and I'm soooo glad I did! First off I just love the esthetic of this place!! The flower decor was sooooo freaking beautiful!! The music was on point and the customer service was exceptional! Most definitely returning!

Friends organized a gathering a couple of Saturdays ago for afternoon cocktails, and a conversation organically happened about how everything about the bar seems to be done perfectly. The space is beautifully designed, it’s well staffed, it’s so clean, and everyone who works there is engaging , welcoming and pleasant. Consensus was, there’s no good reason to go anywhere else to enjoy a beverage with friends. Thanks for all you do Team Sidetrack!

We came here a month ago as tourists and had a super fun time. When we left, we forgot our souvenirs we had bought that day, and proceeded home the next day, 500 miles away. We called the bar and spoke with Brad, the manager. He assured us he'd keep our stuff safe for us, and sure enough, he did when we visited a month later. I really love this place. Nice people and good vibes. Highly recommended, and we will be back!

Sidetrack is a fantastic bar, especially on weekends when it’s full of energy. The rooftop and the different areas make it really fun to explore, and the crowd is always mixed – with lots of younger people on the weekends. The staff at the entrance are very welcoming, and during the week the bartender at the main bar has been exceptionally friendly. Always a great experience!
