St. Charles Paddlewheel Riverboat

My daughter and I were having a little weekend away before school starts and when I found this boat ride, I knew we had to try. It is a simple 45 minute ride down the river but it is very relaxing and smooth. There were only maybe 30-40 people on our boat so there was plenty of room to roam around. I was hanging out on the bow of the ship and felt like a million bucks with everyone on the shore waving to me. We saw all kinds of birds and tons of people enjoying their own boats, tubing, and paddle boarding. The crew was all friendly. It was a really nice experience and we would do it again.

Such a relaxing, river cruise. It is a very smooth ride, I have done the river cruise a few times now, I love the Fox River. And the area north of Saint Charles along the Fox is very scenic, I’ve done the day cruise and the nighttime cruise and both were extremely enjoyable. The employees are extremely professional. It is well worth the money.

I used to own a 21-ft boat and enjoyed heading out on the river with the family. Unfortunately, the costs associated with the boating hobby were excessive. It was such delight to be able to take this boat out for cruise and simply walk on and enjoy the scenery and the water. The crew was friendly, the sites were great, and I only wish they offered a 2 or 3-hour cruise with a dinner.

Simple river tour going through generally scenic, undeveloped stretch of the Fox River aboard a paddle wheel boat. Upper deck is unsheltered open air with bench seating and a steep staircase. Lower deck is enclosed. Simple snacks are available for purchase. Children's buckets with markers, etc. are also available. Tickets can be purchased on-line or at the on-site community center front desk.

So relaxing! We rented the boat, so we had a private group. Everyone enjoyed. Food was delicious. Taco bar!

This cruise was a birthday present to myself. Loved the view of the river. Very calm and peaceful. Plenty of parking in front of the dock. Try eating in the downtown are. Plenty of restaurants and quaint shops to choose from.

So much fun and a unique way to enjoy St. Charles and the Fox river.. They also have themed rides depending on the time of year. I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for something to do in St. Charles! It lasts about an hour The boat has an enclosed seating area and an outdoor upper deck with plenty of seating
