The Black Squirrel Bookstore & Speakeasy

Went to The Black Squirrel for a pre-Halloween costume event, and the experience was exceptional. The atmosphere, in its entirety, including the decorations, the crowd of people and their attitudes, and the staff, was nothing but welcoming and in the holiday spirit. And the drinks, specifically the CampFire Squirrel, their version of an Old Fashion, my goodness - a perfect blend of sweet & salty with a graham cracker rim and a toasted marshmallow to snack on, just superb. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say. This experience was the perfect first. I highly recommend this Speak Easy, well-hidden in the back of a bookstore - a must-experience that I will definitely do again. Oomph - that kind of nice.

Cute little speakeasy in St cloud, they recently did some renovations and the place looks even more cool. Cocktails are great. Staff very nice too. Is my 3rd time here and definitely will be back.

Went to the The Black Squirrel tonight to have some drinks after diner, it was absolutely amazing! We ordered an old fashioned and one of their signature drink the squirrel spritz, Abby was our bar tender, she was very knowledgeable and the drinks were incredibly. The entertainment was amazing! We will most definitely come back and bring some friends with us, this spot was exactly what St. Cloud was missing and now we have it!

This place is exactly what the Kissimmee/St. Cloud area needed. Great decor, fair prices, and live entertainment for a reasonable $5 cover. I was impressed with both the quality of the drinks and the comforting atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

First Time there. We went for the Halloween costume contest. We had a great time! The drinks were good. They don't serve food, but you can order sandwiches from a local restaurant and they deliver. The service was outstanding! The atmosphere was to die for! We are going back next weekend for some other Halloween themed event!

The standout of the night was definitely Aubrey, our bartender—she made us feel like regulars from the moment we walked in. Her service was outstanding, with a friendly attitude and amazing drink recommendations that really made our night special. Aubrey went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time, and it was clear she genuinely cares about her customers.
