The Georgetown House

My wife and I attended a Christmas party at Georgetown University and booked this, it was a fantastic choice. Staff (we were supported by the wonderful Alexis) was supportive and made checkin super easy, the room was preheated and a modern, well designed, spacious and comfortable to relax and get rest for our drive home the next day. We can highly recommend this to anyone and not only to people needing to find a very good 'value-for-money' place but also to tourists visiting DC since it is located in one of the most romantic and cute areas of Georgetown with great access to the city. Room was perfect, service was top, wish we could give even more than five stars. Highly recommend this place. You'll love it too.

If you’re looking for a hidden gem in Georgetown, let me recommend The Georgetown House Boutique Hotel. Its location is absolutely stunning—one of the most beautiful I’ve ever experienced. The check-in process couldn’t have been easier. Instead of waiting in a lobby, there’s a self-serve kiosk right outside the building. The whole process took less than five minutes, and once completed, I received a code that gave me access to both the main doors and my room. Inside, the hotel is charming, and my room in particular was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. It was spotless, well-ventilated, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The pillows and bedding were extremely comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. In the morning, guests have access to a shared kitchen, complete with a variety of coffee options—a thoughtful touch. This was truly one of the best stays I’ve had in years. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially cyclists riding the C&O Towpath, since it’s such a convenient and welcoming place to rest. More importantly, I’d like to thank the entire staff for accepting packages to hold for me until my check in.

Our room was small, nay, tiny. Room service good. Location in downtown Georgetown was very convenient. Their is a common kitchen area with coffee, dishes, silverware, sink, room numbered storage bins in fridge. Rates reasonable for so close to DC.

Positive: Location was great, close to great restaurants and attractions. Negative: The water pressure was extremely low in the shower. There was virtually no temperature control in the shower as well. The blinds were also broken and the did not close all the way.

This is a fantastic place, we gave it 5 stars but if we could give more stars we would even give more. Highly recommended, great quality of room, decoration, service, just perfect ! We staid after a Christmas party.

I had to ship a slightly large package to the hotel ahead of my arrival. When I got there the package was ready for me as Alexis had said. The hotel was very accommodating and responsive to my requests. The communication was excellent and the automated check in was convenient and easy. Rooms very comfy and location amazing. Absolutely great all around

Stayed in the town house from 1/14-1/17. Very spacious and modern with a large back patio. Beds are very comfortable and the town house is immaculate. Plenty of extra towels, blankets etc. Top notch appliances and beautiful decor. Location is prime in the heart of Georgetown. Only a 10-12 minute uber to museums, zoo etc. We stayed in Lock 11 in November which was great, but the town house is superb and now we have been spoiled. Alexis was wonderful! Can’t wait to come back.
