The Guesthouse Hotel

I already live in the neighborhood and have heard great things about Guesthouse. I'm a producer for an annual holiday fundraiser and not only was Guesthouse enthusiatic with supporting the cause, but the accommodations I booked for our VIP were INCREDIBLE. The suites are stunning, spacious, and I'm a huge fan of how much they support local vendors (be sure to check out your treat basket on the counter). We're very lucky to have Guesthouse and I'll be staying with them the next time I need a little staycation.

We had a wonderful stay here!!! It was so nice, the staff were so incredibly kind and helpful, and the room was beautiful!!! Super clean, and spacious!! Had all the amenities needed in be room! Only complaint is the water pressure is horrible so be prepared for that but that was a very small issue for our amazing stay here! The neighborhood was also very nice and had great bars and restaurants!!

We stayed in a three bedroom which is fantastic for a larger family. The kitchen is well stocked but was missing some essential baking items like pans. With that said it was still a great kitchen space. The bedrooms were spacious and cozy. The master bath had an amazing shower with steam. We appreciated the location, which was close enough to everything; we walked to many great restaurants and a concert at The Rivera. The staff was wonderful and helpful. They offered lots of great recommendations for food and activities. The beds are soft and the master bed was a bit too "broken in" for our likes. The room was very quiet and relaxing. The only other criticism I have is that the bathroom with the tub wasn't working properly, we could get the tub to fill up. We parked in a garage in the back, which was super nice. The lobby is very inviting and cozy, snacks and drinks are available. I do wish an iron and ironing board were.available, but the washer and dryer in the room made up for it. Overall, I highly recommend and want to stay here again. This hotel is a hidden gem in Andersonville.

The Guest House is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful rooftop that overlooks Chicago. Lots of great restaurants to eat at and coffee shops. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to things you may need. The rooms smell great and quiet!! You don't hear any traffic or other people in their rooms. Definitely worth your money. I highly recommend it.

Do not get dissuaded by the location . As a local, it’s the perfect home base for the city . It’s close to all the fun Northside neighborhoods and easy 15 minutes to get downtown . The hotel itself is perfectly decorated and cozy and clean . The little extra things for sale in the lobby add to the decor like Chicago themed craft gifts and cocktails . My parents are older and stay here for the holidays and the staff is super helpful . The parking garage is easy and a nice addition. The neighborhood right around the hotel is safe . It’s not as developed as others but there is no concern . A must stay for Chicago especially if you plan to be there for any amount of time .

I was solo on a trip to explore Andersonville. They let me check in early and also upgraded me to a 2 bedroom. Being solo, I didn’t need it, but wow it’s a huge space. Very comfortable for 4 people! The balcony was also very spacious. The kitchen is large and there is ample storage everywhere- and a washer/dryer. A terrific space for an extended trip! Very clean, large bathroom shower. A short walk to most shops and restaurants in the area. The only issue- And this is probably a ME issue-|I could not figure out the TV despite their detailed instructions. I just used my iPad. Oh well! Great stay regardless! Thank you!

The Guesthouse Hotel was amazing. The location is perfect, walking distance from lots of nice restaurants, and beautiful neighborhood. We rented 7 units (combination of 3, 2, and 1 bedrooms), and the rooms are very spacious, clean and great to have the entire family at one location. The hotel staff was extremely helpful, and treated us with smile and were there whenever we needed them. We rented this hotel for our family to attend a wedding in Chicago, stay at The Guesthouse made everything so much easier and great experience. We will most definitely stay at The Guesthouse hotel next time we visit Chicago.
