The Spa at The Ivy has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 based on over 63 reviews on Google
I’m a reoccurring visitor but it was my first time with Damany (I normally opt in for women therapists). He was incredible and professional and made me feel at peace. It was an incredible massage and he took great care. Can’t wait to book with him again
My experience at the Ivy Spa was amazing. Each staff member I encountered was polite, professional and pleasant. They coordinated with one another to allow for a seamless transition from my vehicle to the massage table. It’s evident that they prioritize creating a relaxed environment. Now on to the service, Damany Damany Damany. 10’s across the board for this massage therapist. He made the experience ethereal and comfortable while maintaining care and professionalism. Damany took note of troubled areas to focus on and gently reminded me to relax and breathe deeply which helped to achieve an ultimate state of relaxation. He ended the session with a message of self love and care before wishing me well. The staff did an amazing job at making me feel as if I were the main priority throughout my time there. I will certainly return for future service.
I've been a reoccurring client of The Spa, color over 2 years. I now frequent The Spa monthly, where I receive my 90min customized treatment by Damany! He's by far the best of the best, with remembering triggering pressure points, preferred aroma scents, and where I hold my stress. If tried the "other" luxury Spas within the city, but no one compares to The Ivy! The friendliness of the staff, attention to details, and the feeling that your their only client for the day! You are not rushed, nor pushed for an up sale. Refreshing, I recommend it to anyone needing Spa services
This would be my first experience at The Ivy Hotel. I scheduled a Lymphatic Facial Massage and Deep Tissue Massage at the spa. First, I would like to say that everyone was very polite and professional from the valet, spa coordinator and massage therapist. My issue is the level of massage that I received for the price. The price for both are very expensive but I wanted to treat myself for my 50th birthday. Both were subpar in my opinion. My massage was more like a Swedish than Deep Tissue. There wasn't enough kneading and pressure throughout the hour. There was some but just not enough. As far as the Lymphatic Facial Massage this too was just ok but not enough technique
The experience at the Spa at the Ivy hotel was excellent. From the time I got there I was met at the door with a friendly face and the utmost respect and professionalism. The Spa was beautiful; the staff friendly and each person made me feel comfortable. The massage was just what I needed, and the therapist was excellent. I definitely will tell my friends and family about the special service I received at the spa and the hotel staff who were friendly and very welcoming. I plan to do it again in the future. Thank you, Ivy Spa staff, for a wonderful experience.
Wonderful massages from Alimata & Gabriela! Went to relax & celebrate moving into our new home and the service was exceptional! The massage beds are heated & adjustable to help find the perfect position if you have any back pain. Jazz even set up a little tray with tea & a card for our celebration. Beautiful hotel as well!
I really wanted to love this place, especially since it was meant to be a birthday spa day with a friend. I’m honestly surprised it has a 4.9 rating, as my experience didn’t quite reflect that. From the start, the booking process felt a bit outdated: emailing back and forth to inquire about packages, add-ons, then having to call to give my card information over the phone, and full payment required prior to the appointment. When I asked why, the response was, "to make sure we get paid." Not the most reassuring way to communicate with a first-time client seeking a luxury service. Mornring of My Appointment: The morning of my appointment, I received an email (not even a phone call) saying the entire spa was sick and the day had been cancelled. I completely understand that things happen — I’m a business owner myself, but respectful communication is everything, especially when the experience is meant to feel high-end. As someone who also offers elevated services, I know how important it is to go the extra mile, especially when things go wrong. No alternative options, accommodations, or complimentary gestures were offered, which was disappointing, especially as a first-time client celebrating a special occasion. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of the level of service I expected, and I won’t be returning.
