Overall our stay here was very good. Whatever shortcomings we experienced the customer service and friendliness of the staff overcame it. When we arrived our room seemed extra small and why are we determined it was a queen size bed? It was the smallest queen size bed we had ever seen. Both of us were uncomfortable and woke up sore. I'm not sure why we waited so long but after several days we spoke with the front desk. Bianca began the process of finding us a new room and Jen completed the process after their shift changed. Our new room had a better layout, larger queen size bed and a great view of St. Charles Street. Anytime we ever needed anything, the staff were friendly and eager to make sure we had a positive experience. Even after we checked out and had our luggage and storage, the staff were very accommodating to us. For a mere $3 you can catch the cable car with unlimited rides for the day and see New Orleans in a very beautiful way. Would highly recommend this classic historic stay at a reasonable price with exceptional service.
Kasa was truly great for what I needed. The building is clean and (fairly) quiet, and it's close to the Quarter. The staff was super friendly when I needed them, very courteous and professional. The bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi was plentiful. I do wish the rooms had microwaves, but it didn't impact my stay. There are plenty of great places to eat within a 5 minute walk, so you'll never be hungry, and the room service menu looked great. I liked that there was a code for my door that was text to me before I arrived, so there are no key cards to lose, and I always have the code stored in my phone if I forget it. Will definitely stay here again.
We loved our stay here!! Other reviews said the bath towels were too small, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. The location was good if you are not a big party animal, we enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood! All of the stuff were very helpful and friendly and we had a great time! There is a hop-on hop off bus stop right in front of the hotel too which made it super convenient. I would come back again.
Bianca was amazing! The hotel and room were beautiful ! It was only a couple blocks from everything you could want and the famous French quarter and bourbon st. We also an easy walk. We will definitely be staying there anytime we're in New Orleans! Couldn't be happier with the service from check in with Bianca to leaving with the valet who brought our car down the night before so we could load our bags. Glad we booked here!!
Had an exceptionally hard time getting into this hotel. I never received the pre-check in email guests are meant to receive 48 hours before your stay. Once I received it, it would not confirm my identity online and no one would manually approve my identity, so it took around 2 hours of me calling and asking for help and being sent the same failing link over and over again. Once we finally made it to the hotel, we did not receive the room I booked. It was meant to have 2 beds and only had 1. The balcony was nice but very small, no tables or chairs or anything like that. House keeping came sporadically throughout our stay, and the first time they came they refolded our dirty towels and put them back on the bathroom shelf instead of giving us new ones. Location of this place is great, close to the French quarter and lots of stuff to do. The walls ARE thin and the streetcar outside is loud, but personally did not bother me during my stay. Overall, not a bad hotel but I did not receive the experience I paid for.
I stayed here during a research conference and it was an amazing experience. Staff were super friendly and eager to help, even when I had travel complications. My room was huge! Comfortable and clean. Instead of keycards you got a code to your room, which I actually appreciated, since I didn't need to worry about losing a card while out and about. Plus the location was ideal. A 10 minute walk from the convention center and about 10 minutes from the french quarter! Above all, I appreciate how responsive the staff were through the virtual front desk. They would respond to texts within an hour. Definitely reccomend this place!
Check in was easy, every employee we talked to was kind and helpful! The room was bigger than we anticipated, and super comfy. The location is great: there's a streetcar station across the street, and Royal/Bourbon/Canal are at most a ten minute walk if you don't want to ride the streetcar. We felt safe walking at all hours.
