As a cigar enthusiast in my late 20s, I’ve spent years trying to find that perfect balance of quality selection, atmosphere, and service. This place nails it. I used to make the drive out to their Mebane shop just to stock up—because their humidor consistently carried sticks that matched my profile (I’m a big Foundation Cigars fan and they keep them STOCKED). Now that they’ve opened in Durham, I’m here as often as I can be. The selection is dialed in, with everything from boutique blends to premium staples, all stored impeccably. But what really sets this place apart is the lounge itself—modern, warm, and built for real smokers. Whether you’re posted up solo with a book or here with friends, the vibe fits. It’s upscale without being pretentious. Add in a team that knows their cigars and treats you like family, and you’ve got something special. If you know your way around a cigar and want a place that respects the culture while keeping it welcoming, this is the lounge to support. Durham’s cigar scene just got elevated. We’ve been waiting on a lounge of THIS quality for a long time.

Well furnished, comfortable and friendly cigar lounge with excellent (and free) coffee, wine and beer, and a few select cocktails. The humidor has excellent selections ranging from rare and limited top shelf to bargain smokes that are still tasty. No cover charge or purchase requirement and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great ventilation so even after puffing for hours you won't come home smelling of smoke. Definitely recommend.

Great place. Visiting from out of town. Best of the three cigar bars I've been to in the Raleigh Durham area. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Also a good selection of sticks and a cool vibe. Prices seemed good especially compared to where I'm from. Will definitely make The Pipe and Pint my default choice going forward.
