Gem of a place, great food and great wine prices. Happy hour is even better. They have parking which is nice in Miami.

He made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and gave excellent recommendations. The food is flavorful and well presented. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious, and the portions were just right. Overall, Happy Wine Calle Ocho offers great service, quality food, and a fantastic atmosphere. The moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by walls of wine, warm lighting, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. It’s no wonder The New York Times named it one of the top 25 restaurants in the country. I started with a glass of red wine and their croquetas crispy, creamy, and packed with flavor. Then came the gazpacho, super refreshing with bold tomato and garlic notes. For my main dish, I tried the Mediterranean dorada with creamy risotto, and it honestly blew me away. The fish was cooked just right, and the risotto was rich and perfectly balanced. To end, I had a profiterol with Porto wine light, sweet, and such a satisfying finish. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about both the wine and food. You can feel the love they put into the place, especially with the owners often walking around checking on guests. If you’re into good food, great wine, and local spots with real character, this one’s a must.
