T.J. Maxx

Not so much a review for this TJ Maxx and more of a review of prior reviewers. Ya'll must be high on some stuff to claim that this TJ Maxx has a Runway section. They had a handful of contemporary brand pieces. Not a Runway section. I am not a local, so I had no idea I was being misled. I wasted a whole 3 hours on various forms of transportation just to get there. And for what? Just to look at an overpriced polyester Vince blouse that was not even originally made for Vince, but was specifically created for TJ Maxx stores? If I could sue every one of you for wasting my time like this, I would. Come to San Diego and let me take you to TJ Maxx stores that have AN ACTUAL Runway section.

T.J. Maxx in San Mateo is my favorite Peninsula location because it's not oversized and too hectic with shoppers. And this has been consistent for years. I like the selection of candles especially during the holidays. The hand lotions and liquid hand soaps are always fully stocked. The great part about this T.J. Maxx location is its access to highway 92, Trader Joe's and Ross.

Great customer service. Lots of parking. Reasonable price. Top quality items.

Customer service rep Mala was very kind and helpful with all my needs, very professional friendly.

I went on this location today looking for a specific item that tj maxx always replenish, I came in with my family, my family was at the kids section while I was browsing to the women’s section, as I was walking the aisle this lady out of nowhere says "you can say excuse me, you know that right?" I ignored her since I was far from her and the aisle was not narrow. I saw this lady again on a different section of the store and realized she was stealing. Not going back here again.

Very well organized and good stores with some finder's keepers

I live in South Carolina and just visited San Mateo, CA. I went to RJ Maxx while there. It was equally as great as the one where I live. In fact, I was looking for a 2nd pair of a particular brand of golf plants I'd bought at home. Guess what? I found them in San Mateo - right size and different color - PERFECT!!
