Party Bar

Had a great evening at Party Downtown. Clearly a place where the staff love what they do and are professionals in the food industry. Cocktails are creative and dialled in. Great ingredients and food well executed. Enjoyed the 🦪 curated range of oysters including some super creamy Aphrodite ousters. 🍓small plates with lardo wrapped strawberries, New Orlean’s seasoned butter beans being stand outs 🍰 Basque cheesecake made suuuuper lights and silky inside while still charring the exterior. Divine. I would say everything was above average in taste, quality and balance, truly a reliable spot in Downtown Eugene. Great find! @mackenzieputici 📲

Party Bar is an unexpected oasis in an otherwise grungy (not in a bad way) downtown area. With a name like Party Bar, and being nestled amongst Lazars, Killer Burger, and the bar scene, it was a surprise to walk in to the peaceful but hip atmosphere. The vibes were really nice. The staff was great, the food was great, and the menu, for both food and beverages was quite impressive. I forgot to take a picture of the burger, but it literally melts in your mouth. The chicken slider and the nachjos were also very good. This is a great place to enjoy a nice dinner. The music is not too loud, the tables are not too close together, and for about $40 each, including adult beverages, it feels like a pretty good price to me for the quality and the atmosphere.

No matter if we get takeout, eat at the bar, attend a special event, or sample the wine tastings, we always have a wonderful time. The food is amazing as are the people who make and serve it. Best cocktails around. So fun to come for happy hour and have the bartender create something unique for each one of us to try. 🧡 Much love! Eugene wouldn't be the same without Party! Some of our go to favorites- grilled cheese, chicken wings, tuna tostada, lamb meatloaf, jo Jo's, Brussels sprouts, and desserts! The most recent visit had some of our favorite specials, that toast was amazing, as was the cheese pudding with asparagus, and that broccolini!

Food was great, cocktails excellent. We sat at the bar the bartender was extremely attentive. Only complaint would be they were out of a couple types of oysters and a little disappointed in the feta dip ap we ordered because it said grilled artichoke hearts...they were absolutely not grilled and the sunshine chips were the size of something u would expect to find at the bottom of a bag of chips. No good for dipping. Suggestion...if u can't find sunchokes big enough...i know it's hard sometimes...use beets instead. Goes great w feta. Anyway. Really good experience overall,will definitely come back again

To go order: oysters (which they aren’t going to do Togo anymore in new year), cheesecake, and lemon tart. Oysters- great, forgot lemons, but packaged thoughtfully and yummy Cheesecake- pretty good Lemon tart-I normally love lemon stuff, but my partner and I both thought this was awful. Giant chunks of lemon rind, very very very bitter almost chemically, quite literally the worst thing I’ve ever tasted, and I’m not a picky eater. Overall I’d recommend but do not order the lemon tart.

Ordered drinks and dinner. After 25 minutes, one meal out of four arrived. 10 minutes later, half a sandwich was delivered. Watched Mark personally deliver drinks and then meals to tables that arrived and ordered half an hour after us. 20 minutes after the first meal arrived, another meal arrived with two drinks. 10 minutes later, the fourth and final meal arrived with two drinks. We had 3 different servers, who were working tables on both sides of the building. The food was mediocre, service from the kitchen and bar was horrid. We will NOT return.

Amazing food but ALWAYS amazing service. Every time we get to sit at the bar infront of the shucking station, we leave incredibly happy and fulfilled. 11 out of 10 🤙🏼
