The Houndstooth Public House

This place has always been a cool spot. Good food, plenty of TVs, and nice pool tables. Went in today and got treated like scum of the earth immediately upon walking through the doors. The bartender visibly scowled and was entirely cold to our party for the duration of our visit. We're all service industry folks and were shocked and appalled at the service, or rather lack thereof, we received. We've always had great experiences in the past so this was really disappointin. I get everyone has bad days but it was inexcusable. Hoping management addresses the hospitality issue and is able to improve things soon!

This bar has .75 pool (free on Sunday), karaoke (M &W), darts, shuffleboard, pinball, golden tee, and lots of regulars to chat sports, politics, and plenty of non-censored conversation. Tuesday is $2 deliously FAT tacos (vegetarian friendly) & $5 margaritas 🍹😋 They support our Eugene local graffiti artists 🎨 🤘💞 Let's Goooooooo! Star Wars is also represented (Yes, I also wear Beskar) HOUNDSTOOTH is a staple in EUGENE! GO DUCKS 🦆🦆🦆

Great place to hang. While there we played pool pinball. While enjoying a live band. The Cesar salad was so delicious. That dressing loved the house made croutons they were crisp but not hard as a rock. (chefs kiss) I also got the Mac and cheese Pretty good. I added mushrooms. Our friend group will be back!

This place is your friendly neighborhood spot. There was karaoke when we went. There's pool tables, darts, lottery, 2 smoking decks, and a giant screen for watching sports. The food was good. The burgers were juicy and the buns were soft. The tater tots were overcooked, but they were nice and spicy-- I got the cajun kind. I will be going back there. The prices are amazing, it cost less than $60 to get food and drinks for 3 people (not including tip).

I can't say enough good about Houndstooth. I am not a pub girl, I don't often think of bars or pubs as places to go eat. I had heard thru the foodie grapevine that I should check Houndstooth out. I am SO glad I did. What a chill place. Cozy, quiet, large, clean, barkeep/server was extremely nice. These garlic pieces on/in the tater tots were an extraordinary delicious surprise! Best Tots ever. Then this HUGE Club Sandwich, wow! Fresh, juicy, tender, not salty, crispy toasted bread on point, veggies farm fresh, just WOW. They even make Chicharrón as one of your side options for your Burger or Sandwich. My dining partner had the Cheeseburger & Steak fries & said he was highly impressed too. My only quandary, was that I sneezed about 10 times, which those of you who follow me, know that means I had some kinda reaction to an additive. More than likely it was a part of the ingredients in the cold cuts, which isn't the restaurants fault. We shall be back, regardless of my sneezing! I want to try a Cheeseburger & Chicharróns! New owners, amazing food and drinks! Nachos were amazing-unique and delicious, spicy fries and onion rings were great! Tall drinks, familiar faces from around Eugene.. Might just be our new regular hangout! Shhhhhh... Don't tell anyone!

Nice little neighborhood tavern. Eclectic clientele. Friendly staff that makes you feel like family and take the time to know your name as a regular. A professionally trained chef and owner. So the food is top notch better than your average then some other places. I recommend this place.
