Wow! I met the owner & she is a woman after mine own heart. She is bold, truthful, kind & giving. She was in the wellness store. An amazing person who handled so many customers at once and with joy :🤩 I felt love in her shop. She has the knowledge to make products that help, yet infuses her products with love & you can feel it. I first went into the book store & was overwhelmed by the books & works of knowledge. The staff, she was amazing too. She stayed a little after so I could buy a product. For all those who are white and love history I HIGHLY suggest going into her bookstore & buy books on Oregon history, Black history it will really open your eyes, which we need more of an understanding of what is going on. And bonus you are supporting a Black Woman owned business. Thank you for all you do 💕

My husband and I visited Portland for our 23rd wedding anniversary and decided to stop by Third Eye Book and Gifts. Charles and Michelle are simply amazing people and we are so fortunate to have met them. Michelle, Michelle, Michelle words can not describe your knowledge, kindness and generosity and our gratitude. The service your provided for my husband was much needed and you will always have a special place in our hearts. I wish I could pack you up and bring you to VA. The two shops are owned by a Black husband and wife offering a wide variety of Black books in one and wholistic herbs, focusing on wellness in the other, with souvenirs, shirts, etc available for purchase. Both husband and wife are very knowledgeable of their items and answered all the questions we had. We only meant to stay a little while and stayed engaging in conversation for over two hours. We took pictures,with the owners, in their prospective shops. If visiting, go here, you'll leave mentally enriched.

My friend and I shopped in both the bookstore and the accessories shop. The owners were so nice and helpful. We left with some great finds and will be back again! Highly recommend for everyone to check it out.

I found this place on tik tok and decided to stop in during my weekend trip to Portland. I was so impressed by the large selection of books available by black authors. I was also able to chat quite a bit with the owner, Charles. He was great to chat with and I could tell that he’s very passionate about literature, life and black culture. I ended up purchasing two books that I’m super excited to read. Next time that I’m in the area, I will definitely be back!

Just take all my money. If I didn't have adult supervision I'd be building an encampment with all the books I just bought. I've already shipped a box, plus no room in my luggage for all this knowledge. I'm still plotting a solo return before I skip town. She gushed over speaking with the owner, who's a local civil rights activist at their holistic parlor around the corner. Brother behind the counter has plenty of recommendations that we took him up on. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing experience with Sashat today! She came out and gave a wonderful presentation to our group by performing a powerful Sound Bath for the team! Highly recommend!
