Sister Marie Charles Park

I don't consider this a park...at least not a traditional park. No parking, no swings, no running trail, no water fountain. There is a bench, a sign & a 10pm-6am curfew with somewhat of a view of the Mississippi river.

The city needs to trim the out of control vegetation blocking the views of the river. It’s so thick that if you didn’t know the Mississippi was on ther other side you would leave still not knowing

This sliver of green in the concrete jungle is a gem. I love watching the barges barging along. Great park!

This place has amazing views of the river. Nice walking/biking area. And if you like photographing wildlife eagles love to glide above the bluffs in early morning. Not the cleanest park but a nice hangout.

Great little out of the way river front park with benches overlooking the water and barges. Tree lined nicely maintained concrete walk way. Negatives, because it is so out of the way sometimes there are homeless camps at the far end down by the railroad tracks. Never had an issue here but just something I've noticed. Guess people have to live somewhere. I do get a bit sketched out but again never had an issue during my frequent visits.

Beautiful park and can walk down to river, but be prepared to get harassed by aggressive people that practice alternative lifestyle. This park has a horrible reputation I did not know about until coming here multiple times.

It needs to be better managed. It's a nice board walk during the day but if you're not walking your German Shepherd it's a little dark at night. That being said I have never seen a problem and I walk my dog all the time.
