Very beautiful beach on the bay of the lake Erie. Have enough restrooms, showers, space for sitting, enjoying time with family and friends. Very very beautiful, highly recommended.
Nice beach, shocked at how clear the water was vs the jersey shore. Definitely going back when the weather is nicer
My family has had the opportunity to visit here a number of times in past years, and we were happy to be able to take in a beach day again this year. We normally use Beach #11 (supposedly the best beach for kids), but tried out Beach #10 this time around, since Beach #11 had some bacteria concerns. Regardless of beach number, of which there are many thru the sprawling island park, it is always clean, well kept overall, and never feels as crazy or loud as some other beaches in and around this area of PA and Ohio. My two children had a lot of fun in the water, and getting the opportunity to visit Sara's at the front of the park is always the perfect ending to a day in the sun and sand. Definitely worth at least one visit when in or around the area.
Most beaches are clean & level. Some have lifeguards for swimming. No concession stands this year. Many events during the Summer. Beach concerts, bonfire, kite beach (next to #10), and sand castle competitions. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Feels like you're at the ocean. The Erie travel guide was a big help: explained what the different beaches offered. Some are handicapped accessible. Some are better suited for small children. Some have calm water and some have active waves. ***recommend bringing water shoes because the rocks at the waters edge HURT.
Lovley that there are multiple beaches to pick from that are dog friendly based as well. However, beach 10 was completely overun by dead fish on the bay. Was kind of a turnoff. But other than that, lots of entertainment in the area. Sheraton in erie on the marina was beautiful as well. Also suggest scallywags pirate ship adventure for the kids. Very nice time.
Beautiful and it’s of beach access points. Not all are open to swim but enough still for ample room. Plus clean and warm mid July 😊
