Blake the owner is unresponsive and took our money despite flood and thunderstorm warnings. We booked a boat for Sunday evening 5 pm- 8 pm but there was a flood watch and thunderstorm warning with heavy rain in Austin on Sunday morning so people in our group were worried about conditions being unsafe with little kids in our group. We reached out to captain Abel since 5-6 hours before departure to tell him we might need to reschedule since people in our group were scared of the flood watch and thunderstorm warning with what happened recently in Texas. Captain Abel said the owner Blake might be able to let us reschedule but we need to talk to him directly. We left Blake 2 voicemails and multiple texts and called 7-8 times with him constantly not responding. Blake still hasn’t replied or responded and we paid $225 in advance deposit which I guess he is just keeping while ignoring our calls. All we wanted to do was reschedule to another day since thunderstorms and flood warnings during the ride time would’ve been a stressful boat trip. Not cool. ———————- Reply to owners comment : the owner got back to us and said the amount we paid will be available for a future booking. Haven’t used the credit yet.

We had such a good time with Blake! He was a great captain. We all felt so safe and comfortable. He went out of his way to help coach us on wakeboarding. We loved hangin out with him. Highly recommend.

Only consider Lake Life and Blake when heading out on Austin or Travis. The convenience, quality of the boat, and overall experience are second to none amidst the rise in popularity of rental boats. We sured and caught fireworks on the 4th.

We had a blast on Lake Austin w/Blake. He made sure he had us hooked up from where to have the best time and with music to keep the party going! Super friendly and knowledgeable about Lake Austin, would definitely book again 🤘🏾

We had an amazing time during our sunset cruise! We were celebrating our anniversary and Blake made it so special! He went far and beyond taking care of us. Since we contacted him he was very professional and kind. He was puntual, respectful, the boat is beautiful, very clean and brand new. He took us amazing pictures, we had so much fun. We had a private cruise around lake Travis and it was beautiful, just perfect! Definitely will call him again next visit so we can learn how to surf! 🙂

We rented a boat from Captain Blake on Sunday or Memorial Day weekend and had such a great time we went out a second day with Garrett! Both of them were awesome, fun captains and great coaches for all of us learning how to wake surf. I’d recommend them to anyone looking to get out on the water in Austin!

We just took a bachelor party group out with Blake and had the greatest time! He’s a great captain and showed us an awesome time as a host on his boat. If you’re in Austin for anything to do with water, go with Blake!
