I had the pleasure of celebrating my 30th birthday with him on a private sailboat tour, and it was hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had. From the start, Captain Tim made us feel completely at ease with his friendly and hilarious personality—he really knows how to keep the mood light and fun. Not only did he ensure our safety with his expert sailing skills, but he also went above and beyond by taking professional photos for us—free of charge! It was such a thoughtful touch, and the pictures turned out amazing, capturing all the beauty of the lake and the sunset, as well as little special moments that I will cherish forever. Speaking of the sunset, he timed everything perfectly, letting us enjoy it in peace while he navigated with ease. The whole experience was so relaxing and enjoyable, and I truly can't recommend Captain Tim enough. We had an excellent experience with Captain Tim. Everyone had so much fun! He is well-organized, accommodating and very safety-conscious. He also took many excellent photos during our excursion, and provided them all to us at no extras charge. He helped us all individually in and out of the boat. He handed us all our belongings loading and unloading as well. We all definitely recommend Captain Tim!

Excellent experience and more Cpt’n Tim was epic, so well knowledgeable in his passion and love for sailing and excellent taste in many genres of music. A beautiful way to see Austin and Texas beauty from a different perspective. The weather was excellent, guest that we shared the Sunset tour with were also so warm and welcoming celebrating their one year anniversary. I highly recommend the adventure it will be a game change and create a passion for sailing that is deep within you, you may not realize it’s there. However it is! Thanks again for everything! We had such a great time with Captain Tim for my boyfriend’s birthday! He answered all our questions about sailing and told lots of fun stories of his adventures. He made sure everyone was comfortable and safe the whole time and created a very fun and relaxed experience for all! Highly would recommend a charter experience with Sail Austin!

Lovely July 3rd sail with Captain Tim on the lake with fireworks! The beautiful sailing yacht is very comfortable with plenty of space to spread out and sit and has a nice restroom on board. Even the member of our family that is very nervous about boats felt very safe with Captain Tim’s attention to safety and experience. Water was very calm and sunset was beautiful. Captain Tim takes complimentary photos which were great and an added bonus.
