I’ve stayed here this weekend, for over 6 years and it never disappoints. The 1-bedroom suites are very spacious and perfect for longer stays (we stayed 4 nights). The breakfast is fabulous and the entire property is kept very clean. Huge shoutout to the helpful staff and front desk! The breakfast layout can get a little congested near the waffles/drinks, and I miss the old hot tub, but the overall experience is still 5-star. I wish the breakfast had hot chocolate packets in with the coffee/tea. Highly recommend!
PERFECTION !!! We stayed in a Hampton inn night before last because they used to be associated with quality. But thw hostess was sullen, the room dirty, and showers cold. By contrast we were greeted warmly by Jahzay. We received our waters and choice of snacks. The room was glorious with a separate seating area, TV, and a wet bar, and bedroom with its own TV. The bathroom was accessible to both the living area and the bedroom, and the shower gloriously HOT. We enjoyed the shower before bed and again in the morning. And the breakfast offered everything your heart could desire. Amy was a warm, friendly hostess. Guadalupe made the yummiest omelet with the ingredients of my choice. The coffee was, (high praise) almost as good as our home brew. Lou and Amanda were pleasant and very attentive to our needs. The indoor pool was lovely but we didnt stay long enough to enjoy it. We were too late to enjoy the evening reception but I feel certain it was lacking nothing good. Our experience was stellar from beginning to end at checkout with the lovely Cheyenne. I will choose Embassy Suites at EVERY opportunity!
The property is a little dated but it's clean and my room was spacious. The breakfast was good;...coffee was awful and one canister was cold. It's close to restaurants and not too far from The Gathering and downtown. It also has an airport shuttle.
This was a great stay overall. The rooms are large and clean. The breakfast is amazing, and the hotel itself has a specific charm. The staff was responsive and very polite. The marks against, the hot tub was cold (which on speaking with desk could have been fixed with a reset) and the steakhouse could not accept credit cards. Both of these issues could have easily been handled better with simple signage to alert the guests. I also did not find out until checkout that there was a nightly reception for guests with drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Such a great perk, but unfortunately, wasn't communicated well. The staff was very receptive to feedback however, and that makes a big difference. Definitely some disappointment, but I would stay again for sure.
Really disappointed, we went for romantic getaway and chose a it because it had a hot tub. When we arrived ladies were very sweet and helpful. After we got in rooms staff changed and were quite rude. No hot tub as advertised online and restaurant was extremely overpriced and ppl said don't eat there it was horrible as they left. Hotel is overflowing with people and highly understaffed quite hectic. We waited 30 mins for plates for breakfast in a line with about 30 people waiting in front of us. I'd say the price is way high and charges for parking. I am extremely unhappy and probably won't ever go to another one.
Descent hotel. Definitely not the usual Hilton standards. Employees are great and rooms clean and if that is all you need, it's a good stay. The issue with my stay was the noise. This hotel is one of those open designs, so you will here EVERYTHING. The noise was so loud, I could not hear the TV. Babies crying, kids running, doors slamming and loud talking CONSTANTLY. I don't have a problem with noise but when I'm in my room, I shouldn't hear everything in the lobby and hall from every floor. The poor design did not include noise dampers. Each room has two large glass windows on both sides of your room door and no bottom slide under the door for a quarter to half inch opening. So, if noise is a concern, this is not a hotel you want to stay. The other problem was the pool was not heated as stated on their website. Also, the hot tub was closed the entire stay. I can't stand that hotels are allowed to list an amenity and then just not have it available. It's legal false advertising. I also coul not get warm in my room. There is no hot or cold, only temperature. So, I assumed it's supposed to work by switching on its own if you set the temperature higher to send warm air. It did not and was very cold the entire stay. There were no luggage carts available since the front desk doesn't check the lobby. The clerk had to call someone to go look but it was too late for us to use any for several trips to our room. I understand people are selfish and lazy not bringing them back down, but employees are supposed to be checking these things and calling for their roundup for a reason and not waiting when someone points it out. Plus, being cheap by not buying enough carts to cover. We pay these prices for a certain level of service and when this chain no longer has the level of service, why would we pay the higher prices?
We stayed at this hotel once again this year for the Chili Bowl. We chose it because of the great experience we had in 2025. Nice rooms, friendly staff and because it had a bar that stayed open late for everyone to be able to get drinks after the races each night and not had to uber or drive anywhere. The rooms were $55 a night more than the Hampton next door and even more savings had we stayed at other locations. We, among others, were willing to pay the extra for the bar services. This year they decided to open the bar after we left each day (5pm) a call last call at 1030pm (before we returned each night) and closed it promptly at 11pm. One night closing it regardless that there were 14 guests in there still. Our group amongst others reported to the front desk on more than one occasion our displeasure with it. I was contacted and told it would remain open later but not earlier. That never happened. I’ll also mention they decided to do away with the hot tub and the pool was out of service the first 2 days. After opening the pool, no way were we using it. It had crud floating on the surface till the weekend when a group of kids came and didn’t care. If the bar, pool and hot tub aren’t a concern it’s a great hotel BUT you will not walk to anything from this hotel. You’ll travel atleast 1 exit to most food places or bars. We definitely won’t return to this location for the chili bowl in the future. This stay was definitely a disappointment for two diamond members
