Hampton Inn Chicago/Naperville

This was a fantastic hotel and experience. The location was wonderful, as it was right across the street from the Northern Illinois University conference center. We had no problems taking Lyft everywhere. The hotel was also within walking distance of some fantastic restaurants. The lobby was always welcoming. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The bed was comfy and the room was sparkling clean. I used the fitness center and it was also very clean with working equipment. I would absolutely stay here again!

My boyfriend is a wounded veteran. He requires the use of a wheelchair as he cannot walk. We often have to search extensively for a hotel that can accommodate his needs. We booked a wheelchair accessible room with a roll-in shower. We had our confirmation several weeks before the trip date. We made it to our hotel at 3 am. We get our room. Not only did it not have a roll-in shower, but it’s not accessible. There are no bars in the bathroom except one vertical bar in the shower. Furthermore, there is not even room in this room for my boyfriend to maneuver around in his chair because the room is too small. The man at the front desk has bent over backwards trying to find the room we requested. He found two, one is occupied and the other is not clean. We are trying to figure out how we book a particular room, receive one they claim is disabled accessible but really isn’t, and then the ones we actually book are occupied and dirty. We were told that we could switch rooms tomorrow when one of those are ready, but what a hassle!! Hotels REALLY need to do better, as this is not the first hotel or hotel chain to do this to my boyfriend. He cannot even get into the bathroom to brush his teeth because there is no room. I’m disappointed, very disappointed.

Elise or Elsie was great. She was always happy and smiling she was very friendly and had great customer service. Breakfast was always fresh, stocked and very clean. Getting breakfast in the morning was always great she made the kids feel very comfortable getting their breakfast 10/10 W Elsie/Elise

We booked this hotel while traveling thru on a roadtrip vacation and firstly this is a nice hotel property, The check in was easy, Staff were friendly, Hotel was very clean, was in a good location, Felt very safe, Bed was very Comfy, Pillows were ok or pretty average. Was very quiet. Wifi was good. Also offered a good breakfast. Negatives to it were keycard didn't work at first had to get a new key card. Elevator was loud and slower. Towels were pretty small. Pool needed cleaning we didn't take advantage of that because of that issue. But overall was a good hotel and we would stay there again if traveling thru.

Positive: The breakfast! Everything was well-stocked and clean. My son loved the waffle station (and so did everyone else). Negative: The floor of my room was wet. I thought it could have been humidity or they had just cleaned the carpet, so I turned up the aircon a bit to see if it would dry out. But even after 2 nights the carpet was definitely wet. Pretty uncomfortable to walk on.

Great location with lots of stores and restaurants nearby, including one of our favorites, Culver's. Hotel itself and our room were clean, workers are all very polite and helpful. Nothing special about their breakfast but it's free and includes hot dishes: eggs, potatoes, sausages, oatmeal, and make-your-own waffles and mini-waffles. 24-hour coffee, tea, hot chocolate available in the lobby is very convenient. Pet friendly hotel is important since we were traveling with our cat. Complaints: There's no safe and only one chair in the room. Everything seemed to be made for tall people. It was difficult reaching the towels in the bathroom and hanging up towels & coats on hooks that are positioned very high up. Getting into bed was a little difficult. Previously, at another hotel, bedside steps were available to help make it easier for elderly customers to get into bed. Mostly minor annoyances. All in all, we were happy with our 5-night stay.

We enjoy staying here and Cindy always makes sure to keep us posted on local events. Clean, comfortable rooms, convenient location and free breakfast!
