Brittany is a great trauma therapist. She’s helped my family come together more than I could even imagine. Would 100% recommend her for anyone looking for a phenomenal therapist.
Maybe I met with the betrayal trauma therapist on an off day; she was cold and rude to me. Telling me I should take antidepressants because I would "care less" about my betrayal is not professional or appropriate. She repeatedly asked me why I was there, and she couldn't/wouldn't tell me what a betrayal trauma therapist does. I'll have to keep looking for a therapist. Edit: Mr. Sanchez, that is who I saw. I booked an initial appointment with her, as I was not offered a short/information gathering time with her. This was just prior to her certification as a partner trauma therapist. I saw her that one time only. At the end of our meeting, she did not ask if I wanted to schedule another visit, and I left. I get it- not every client is a good fit for a particular therapist. If she doesn't remember me and the practice has no record of my visit, I don't know what to tell you about that. I most certainly saw her that one time.
I am pleased to offer my heartfelt feedback of David Sanchez, a counselor at Charlotte Counseling Associates. David exemplifies the highest standards of professionalism, and his exceptional qualities as an individual make him a true asset to the field of counseling. His methodical yet compassionate approach ensures that you feels valued and understood. David's ability to navigate complex emotional landscapes with grace and skill is a testament to his thorough training and experience. One of David's most notable traits is his calm demeanor. In an often challenging field, his serene presence provides a reassuring anchor for those seeking support. This calmness is allows you to feel at ease, which fosters a trusting and open environment. Moreover, David's ability to provide guidance in a loving and caring manner sets him apart.
John is the type of colleague I challenge myself to be both in clinical practice and as a genuinely good person. John has many strengths as a counselor, but one of his most valued characteristics is striving to see the best in other people, even when they don’t believe it for themselves. He uses his tact, awareness, and humor to draw out your strengths, address areas of therapeutic growth, and support you in your goals at a pace that’s best for you. If you’re looking for a therapist that supports your potential, even if you can’t see it just yet, John is an excellent option to consider.
If you have ever met Brittany, I’m willing to bet that it didn’t take long for you to recognize her genuine passion for helping others. There is certainly no shortage of amazing qualities that make Brittany great at what she does. Unfeigned empathy, sound guidance, and accountability are just a few characteristics you can expect from a quality therapist like Brittany. What really brings it all together is the simple fact that this is truly who she is, 24/7, regardless of the setting or the person she is talking to. She is the kind of person we all hope to have in our lives!
David is a wonderful and knowledgeable counselor who truly cares for his work and the people he interacts with. He believes in the best for people and highly recommend scheduling an appointment with him. John is fantastic and does a great job to present himself in a professional and approachable matter. Not only does he do a great job meeting someone where they are at, but he is a great listener. Both of these men do a great job job displaying what counseling is all about.
I have been working with Brittany for 5 years, and she exemplifies the qualities of a great therapist. She is patient, knowledgeable, and makes you feel very safe and heard. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a therapist!
