CC Slaughters Nightclub and Lounge

Clean, great decorations, good drinks, friendly staff, and really magical live piano Karaoke with Saint Syndrome. The bartender made a great lemon cream pie shot and even made sure to accommodate my dietary needs. Every drink I had was really well balanced even when they used atypical mixes. The food also came out hot which was nice. Typical bar food but not overly greasy.

Really lovely place! Stopped in because I was staying at the hotel across the street (The Society) and needed a quick place to eat. Lucky me, I stopped in on their Monday BINGO night! Patrons, staff, and overall vibes were absolutely delightful.

Late review but Patrick was an amazingly friendly bartender on our visit. Strong drinks and cool atmosphere. Sad to see it wasn’t very busy on our visit.

I had such a great time at this club. The 3.6 stars made me wary but it really surpassed my expectations. Cool decorations, black lights that made for a fun glow-in-the-dark vibe, cheap ($7) cocktails, a patio perfect for taking breaks from the crowd and volume, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, good music. Came here with about twenty friends and we all had a blast. So bummed to see it’s closing down soon; I hope lots of folks go by to check it out in its final days.

Love this place! It’s a staple of the queer scene. Very safe and welcoming. Lots of people from all over the gender and sexuality spectrum there every time I’ve been.

Closing down doesn't mean you get to abuse your patrons of color with no repercussions. Whoever was bartending and working security on the 19th needs to be fired immediately. Security is not supposed to be a weapon against customers who call you out on being wrong. When someone tells you you made their drink wrong, just suck it up and make a new drink. If you can't handle the pressure of making mistakes or be mature enough to own up to them, then you REALLY shouldn't be in this industry. And being able to assess security risks comes with the role of SECURITY. I don't know how secure anyone would feel if asking for the right drink would result in them being dragged onto the sidewalk and assaulted. Absolutely disgusting. What a sad note for CC Slaughters to end on, abusing the LGBTQIA+ community its served.

One of the busier gay bar/clubs in portland with dance floor multi bars, video poker, live DJ and places to hang out. This place was set to close permanently recently however at last moment there was bids to purchase and has stayed open. It’s one of the more active and fun gay clubs in portland so would be a shame to have it close.
