King Pins is amazing!! My ONLY complaint is it's not closer to home so that I can go more often!! So many arcade games and decently priced machines and prizes!!! This is a HUGE rating factor for me!! The food is SO GOOD!! Definitely eat when you go there, whatever reason you're there for! The bowling alley is awesome! Not just glow-bowl, but music videos on big screens above the lanes. So much more up to date than other places, yet same cost. Very, very busy on weekends, so plan well enough in advance if you plan to bowl!
First time here, came for a birthday party. The servers were awesome. They refilled our drinks, always asking if we need anything else. The food was ok, wouldn't go there to eat.
We had a great time at KingPins in Portland with my family. The arcade games were excellent—modern, fun, and kept everyone entertained for some time. Bowling was also well organized, and the overall atmosphere made it a fun spot for families. The only downside is that arcade games a bit pricey, some games will kick you out after 20 sec , and ask you to pay more lol , so if you plan to do arcade games solo , you better be careful I especially want to recognize Luke and Eric, two supervisors who were incredibly helpful and professional. They went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly for us and made the experience much better for my family. Customer service like that really makes a difference. Overall, a fun place for family outings or special occasions. We’d definitely come back.
What a fantastic experience. I've been bowling many, many times in my life. Since having a kid, not so much, so maybe things have changed, but I've never experienced this before at a bowling alley- full lane-side waiter service with food and drink service, on-site arcade... What a fantastic time.
What a great place to bring the family or friends to enjoy a evening out.
Nick K was super kind and understanding and fun with the grandbabies bowling and making a huge mess out of eating - super salt of the earth with outstanding customer service and Kaitlyn is the bartender and beyond - making sure all of the kids were loaded up with nachos and arcade tickets!!! I'd come back again for the staff alone!!!
Perfect rainy day activity. What to do on a Sunday when you have nothing to do! Well, bowl it is. We were told there was a 30 minute wait for a lane that we could only have for 90 minutes since a league needed a few lanes. The wait was just enough time for us to go to the other side to order a pitcher of cerveza and some grub. We had just poured a pint when the front desk called to say the lane opened up. We ended up waiting less than we initially thought. A win. The food we ordered was brought over to our table. We were starving. Let me tell you something, the food was amazing. Let me give you a rundown because we ate ate. We got the wings. That mango habanero was wow. We got dry rub for the other option. Also very good. The garlic parmesan fries was perfectly cooked. I kilt that dipping sauce. The corndog bites reminded me of my childhood. We also got a pizza. I’m not sure if it was the combination of my high from doing so well plus the two bowls I hit on the way over, but the food slapped. We ate everything. Killed all the plates. The foods slapped so hard I forgot to snap picas. The service was great. Everyone was nice. I specifically loved that their pins were free. I’m in a bowling league in LA and the pins at the spot I go to are held by strings and I firmly believe I’d have more strikes if they were free. Also, random but I loved their setup - a huge table with seats that slide back. It was great for when you got too comfortable yapping and forget it’s your turn to bowl so you spring back. There was ample space for you to turn. I dug it. We ended up playing 3 games. Now I know where to hang whenever I’m in town.
