Wallace Books

So many great selections to choose from! You'll definitely find something you will love at this cozy bookstore. Gonna be a regular at this bookstore.

This book store is amazing! Looking for wall to wall books? Look no further! What about the book you didn't know you wanted? Yep they have that too. Or what about that book you loved in 2nd grade? Yep is probably there. A book on just about anything? Mostlikly too find it!Great price great staff great place!!

Absolutely one of my top favorite bookstores in Portland area! So many new and used books - lots of cool editions too! I was absolutely floored how many books were packed in this store. It was literally floor to ceiling in just about every since room! Great service and very clean too! 🙂 I’ll be back!

Friendly staff, and helpful. Books are kept in somewhat distinct sections but are not shelved in any noticeable order (author name, title, number) so it involves quite a bit of staring and scanning book spines to find what you might be looking for. On the other hand, this arrangement can lead to serendipitous finds. Not as broad a selection as other bookstores, but perhaps more depth in specific genres than even the big boxes like Powell's.

If you like to wander narrow, labyrinthine paths into small rooms crammed with shelves, boxes, and piles of books, both new and used, you will love this shop! Thousands of books filled nearly every available space of this small shop. New, used, and vintage books are organized by genre, so finding what you want is made easier but still feels like a treasure hunt! The staff were friendly and helpful when I was there, leaving me to wander freely until I had a question. If you're a bibliophile in Portland, making the trip to the Westmoreland neighborhood will be worth your while.

Insanely good bookstore. A labyrinth of first-rate editions and an abundance of books you didn’t even know you wanted. Great literary sections with specific authors in crates and great Pacific Northwest sections as well as section on Native Americans. Didn’t even get to venture into the children’s-book area but it’s an entire room!

Great bookstore with piles of books floor to ceiling. Friendly and helpful employees. Only thing missing is a shop cat.
