Canal Walk

5++++++++. Absolutely gorgeous views of the river. There is a pipeline with railings that is parallel to the river. A few spots were a bit questionable but overall an amazing spot to go. Definitely recommend and will definitely be going back soon!!

Very beautiful river canal walk, the water is so peaceful and the whole walk even in the winter is just scenic and beautiful

It was beautiful, we loved the waterfall. Super nice to have in the city and the historical aspect was cool. Didn't get to walk all of it but what we did walk was really nice.

I went with my wife and we saw the art work along the hydroelectric portion, we parked close to 1200 E Byrd St. We parked along the fence, which is much cheaper at $2/hr, 4 hours max. The area is not wheelchair friendly. Some of the slopes/ramps are very steep, titled, not clean and have large gaps/drop offs. Portions are closed off for construction which makes it difficult to navigate if you are not on foot. We will try to navigate additional areas and see if they are more wheelchair friendly.

Great place for a walk. Took pur pug for a walk here. You dp have to pay for parking but it's not too expensive. The water is gross and dirty but it's nice to have a place to walk along the water. There is some cool art here and there. There are a couple of boats there that look like they might go up and down the canal. I really liked how wheelchair accessible everything was. The pug was happy and pooped out after the walk.

Much of the walk is quite nice and peaceful, there are some dingy areas for sure, but we enjoyed it overall.
