William & Eleanor Crook Park

Great place to swim by yourself in peace, clear clear water. Sometimes you’ll see deer in the park or You might also catch someone on high wire. When you’re driving down Riverside, you might catch a glimpse at this art by a local artist, beauty out of trash.

i feel like this little spot was my home in another life. So adorable and beautiful and cute and tiny and uhhhh i love it i love it love it The cutest little rock’s to fish off of and the tiniest but best walk through the woods. I wish I could build a house here honestly. I don’t even like rivers or lakes very much but this one takes the cake.

Go enjoy yourself at one of the busiest parks in the area. We drove 2-1/2 hours just to get there. It was so nice that we drove back the following weekend as a day trip. Making memories with family. Families everywhere setting up early. I recommend this place to any and everyone. You will not be disappointed.

What a beautiful park!!! A great place to taje the entire family. Picnic areas and there is a water hole for every age. From rapids to still shallow water.

The river itself was clean and cold with strong currents on one side - however, there were families and solo bystanders that were smoking weed all around everyone, littering everywhere. Ruined the vibe for us.

Great park. Dogs must be on leash even in the water. We got scolded, but overall it's a beautiful park and the doggos LOVE swimming in it.

The San Marcos River is great: we spent a lot of time playing there. Really nice park, shade trees, benches, and surrounded by the river.
