we would come back to your house at least once more. A huge advantage of the hotel is the heated pool. it was luxurious. not a crowded pool. everything is updated, clean. the grill area is perfect, with new soft chairs. the hotel looks like a luxury vacation. this is the best hotel. we highly recommend

Coconut Bay Resort is a spot where we lounged like we were underneath the coconut tree! The bedroom suite was very spacious and comes with a kitchenette, futon couch, large bedroom as well as a balcony view of the pool deck. The suite furnishings showed a bit of its age but everything was kept clean and in good order. The washroom water has a yellow tinge but it stems from city water treatment. Only complaint is the old AC that hummed occasionally at night before turning on. The hotel staff at reception were easygoing and friendly. We were able to come for late check-in with keys in the lockbox placed on the suite door. After checkout, we were able to store our luggage and hangout at the pool deck under the shades as well as head to the beach. Manager Billy was very accommodating and welcoming. Note there are actually two buildings. Building 1 is on the north side at the entrance. Building 2 is on the south side adjacent to the pool and Building 1. The location is minutes from the Ft Lauderdale Beach and there is a 7-Eleven next to it with friendly staff giving away free Pokémon cards. Skip it or hit it? It’s an affordable stay that we’ll certainly consider again if we’ll be staying by Ft Lauderdale beach.

Rooms are older but clean. Pretty quiet. Kitchenette is nice to have with all dishes, and cooking needs met. Helps save $. Pool area is pretty nice--quiet in evening. Easy walk to food, grocery, Galleria mall, and beach. A block from the beach--saves huge $ on parking! If you dont have a car, there is supposedly a train between the 3 nearby airports with stops along the way and there are water taxis. Bikes or scooters would be helpful here.

Should not be classed as a Gold Crown, more like a one star Motel! There is no restaurant, safe or housekeeping. Photos of the 'Resort' look nothing like it. We arrived at the studio apartment which was dark, dingy and smelt musty. Some of the light bulbs didn't work and neither did the shower or bath tap. The next day the receptionist told us that you have to pull the tap hard from the wall! There is nobody at reception after 5 p.m and the emergency number only deals with late check- ins, not maintenance. The pool filter was just under our balcony and made a terrible noise. We left after one night.

Excellent area, 5 minute walk to beach. Got up early every morning and ran along the beach. Room is clean, pool area is clean and is cleaned thoroughly every morning. Pool keep my at a nice warm temperature allowing for swimming even on chilly nights. Would use again.

We stayed 5 nights in a 1-bedroom apartment. It was amazing! Even though the toaster and dish washer didn't work in the beginning, the team immediately took care of the problems and replaced or repaired it. It's just a 6 minute walk to the beach, beach towels are provided. There is even a laundry available for guests (2$ each for washing and drying). The pool and whirlpool were always clean and we enjoyed swimming and relaxing there a lot. We will for sure come back and can highly recommend staying there.
