I had been looking to try a float tank for years , I came across and Kontråst and I’m so glad I did! Megan was incredibly informative on the process and the atmosphere was super welcoming! I look forward to my next session & trying their cold plunge & sauna!

I had the best massage of my entire life yesterday and everyone needs to hear about it! I’ve been a monthly massage person for the last 20 years. I prefer to commit to a regular person who knows me and my body, but struggled to find a regular massage therapist after mine moved. I made an appointment for my birthday at Kontrast and my mind was blown. First of all, the facilities are clean, quiet, and modern. Easy to get to, good parking, and Meghan (co-owner) is super friendly and welcoming. Secondly, Danielle worked out spots in my neck and back that I didn’t even know were hurting. I prefer the long, slow strokes of Swedish massage, and I love the firm pressure of deep tissue massage, but I hate feeling like the therapist is just digging into my knots with their thumbs. Danielle is an experienced athletic massage therapist and it was evident in the way she was able to put so much strength into the pressure without hurting me on the table. And my body isn’t a wreck this morning from getting the knots worked out yesterday. I have experienced dozens of massage therapists over the years and I could have literally wept on the table it felt so good. Instead, I booked my appointments for the rest of the year with her! If you’re someone that is into the cold plunge thing, they have state of the art cold plunge tubs and saunas as well. I never thought I would try this, but I did, and it actually helped regulate my nervous system (which is almost always stuck in a state of fight or flight) for the remainder of the day. I also want to mention because this matters, Kontrast is a safe and welcoming space for the LGBTQIA+ community. Massage can put you in a vulnerable place, but Kontrast is a safe, healing space that welcomes everyone with respect. I can’t wait for my next massage and couldn’t recommend Kontrast enough!

What a beautiful, relaxing, and inviting space! I had a deep tissue massage with Audra that was heavenly and have done the cold plunge+sauna 2x now. My experience has been exceptional at each appointment and I’m looking forward to making it a regular part of my self care routine! Highly recommend checking this place out:)

Although I usually use my own ice tub which is a bit colder, this was a great alternative as my ice tub was out of commission for repair. I called last minute and was told they had no openings for the day. They took my number and called me later to squeeze me in. So professional and caring. I will be recommending Kontrast to anyone that is interested in cold therapy before they purchase there own. Great job and thank you. William Trag Yager Love is the answer

This place is amazing!! the energy is so cool it’s a nice little private place I was highly impressed by it! You get your own private suit ! Did the hot and cold suit ! Felt amazing after ! Danielle was super nice and professional! I will certainly be back to check out more of what they offer !
