The Ruby Spa Massage

This was a same day appointment, and the staff was friendly and quick to respond. They sent me a text message while I was on the phone trying to leave a voicemail and scheduled the appointment for the afternoon instantly. I had a thirty minute session, and the therapist gave me closer to forty minutes of time. It's always great when people exceed your expectations. Prices were competitive.

I do not often get massages, but my back was stiff and my body was very stressed today, so I decided to try The Ruby Spa because of relatable reviews. I called and got an appointment for one hour later. When I arrived, the therapist gave me an intake form to fill out and explained the session and the rules. I was surprised by the professional process and it made me feel sure that their work was reliable. The therapist first walked on my back for about 10 minutes, and it helped relax my tight muscles. Then she did Gua Sha and used firm pressure with oil, and I felt much better after the session also didn’t leave any Gua Sha marks. I highly recommend the Gua Sha.

The massage was excellent. The surroundings were not. Lots of security cameras and security doors. I understand the need for security but it did not make for a luxurious experience. Also, my massage therapist was the only person working there and had to leave several times to answer the phone and get the door.

Wow! I had an amazing Professional Massage Experience at The Ruby Spa! Three weeks ago, I visited Durham for work, and after a long flight, my neck and shoulders were feeling especially strained from all the stress. I decided to look for a good massage in the area and chose to try The Ruby Spa. I can genuinely say that their expertise is remarkable; the massage was exactly what I needed ! After my session, the aches in my neck and shoulders were completely gone, and I even realized that I had a headache that I wasn't aware of until it faded away. Thank you, Ruby! I definitely want to stop by again the next time I'm in the area.

So good!!!The combo of Gua Sha and massage was phenomenal. It really helped with my shoulder pain, and my back felt so much softer—I realized I could bend a lot more afterward. I’m really glad I gave this place a try!

Worst customer service ever do not recommend this place at all. Very rude employees.

Went in for a massage back was killing me. I had to keep telling her softer. Why ask me how I want massage I said medium way to hard my back is hurting even more. Don't recommend
