Peony Spa

Have had 3 massages here now. Both a bit different but both good. Today was great. She stood on my back and pushed from the ceiling. Used her knees and elbows a lot to really get in where I needed it. There is a language barrier but not there for conversation so im fine with that. Will definitely be back and bring the wife too.

Went in and paid for a 30 minute massage. Massage lasted less than 20 minutes. Asked for hard massage. Masseuse did so for about 5 minutes. Then she went soft. Rip off! Then she pushed for a bigger tip. She did not speak English and was definitely not a professional masseuse. Will not return.

I had a massage by a really tiny lady today at Peony Spa. I would like to say how she really did know what she was doing and it was probably the best massage I’ve had in awhile. My cranial head massage was the best one I ever did have. I went in for a 60mins massage and received a full body massage. Honestly, I’ve been to almost 7 other massage therapist and I think I may have found the best one. Unfortunately, I was not able to talk to her as she did not speak English. But I’m sure she’s a lovely lady.

My masseuse did a nice job loosening me up after a workout. Clean place. Friendly staff.

I went in for a 90 minute massage. I was on property for less than 90 minutes. The massage lasted 70-75 minutes total, including the period where the lady left the room in the middle of the massage. I was asked to pay up front, which I have never had done before. There is no information that payment with a credit card will incur a $2 fee. At one point during the early portion of the massage the lady was texting. I typically expect a 90 minute full body massage to cover at least 75% of my body, where this was only about 60%. There was no direction given on anything, the table is very minimally dressed with a small square sheet, face hole is in the upper middle of the table (not off the end), dressed with only a towel. I had to ask if I should start face down or up, unrealizingly got under the sheet only to be told to get up and use the towel to dress (while naked with the therapist in the room), when completed the lady left the door cracked and entered as i was re-dressing! I would not recommend! While the 70 minutes were mostly relaxing, I paid for 90, and tipped prior to service based on my typical tipping for services that long (I would not have tipped as much or been willing to pay for the 90 minutes if I paid after the service)! Not happy!!!!!

Jan. 16, 2019 - Had the good fortune of having a Deep Tissue massage at Peony Spa recently with Linda, & WOW what an amasing experience!! Linda was very amazing, very professional & she demonstrated amazing strength in working out all my, & was very attentive in regularly checking with me on the amount of pressure being used. I had an hour deep tissue massage, & a foot massage afterwards, & did not want any of it to come to an end. I have been getting deep tissue & traditional massage for the last 7+ years, & can accurately say that the massage I received by Linda at Peony Spa was the best I have had! I will most definately be returning again soon!

Go here if you like a massage person who doesn't speak or understand English. She also takes care of the front desk while doing your massage and at the end she will tell you how much you should leave her for a tip! I worked many years as a hairdresser and I would have been fired if I would have told my customers how much to leave me for a tip! This person's name was Sue...so sorry I gave her a tip! She got that before she shot her mouth off about the size she expected!
