Elaia Spa
📍 Gay-friendly spas in Seattle
Elaia Spa in Seattle offers a relaxing retreat with a blend of thoughtful services and well-regarded amenities. The massage treatments vary in quality, with some clients praising skilled therapists and tailored techniques, while others note inconsistencies in professionalism and attention to detail. The lounge area provides a cozy space with snacks and refreshments, though its decor could benefit from modernization.
The spa’s steam room and sauna are standout features, delivering a tranquil escape, while the shared pool and hot tub may detract from the experience due to external factors. Affordability and friendly staff enhance its appeal, though occasional service hiccups—like equipment issues—highlight room for improvement. Ideal for unwinding, it balances charm with practical considerations for a peaceful visit.

Customer Reviews
Elaia Spa has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 based on over 138 reviews on Google
I frequent spas often, going at least 2x a month and I’m so pleased with my stop here! I got a body scrub and massage, the room was beautiful and my massage therapist was so friendly and kind. I appreciate the cozy lounge with snacks, blankets and other amenities that really help you relax and spend hours here. The hotel and spa do share the lap pool and hot tub so I unfortunately didn’t enjoy that as much. The hotel tub was far from hot and the children staying in the hotel who were visiting the pool made it a bit harder to relax in there. I would come earlier in the day on a weekday to really enjoy those parts but a day pass would be worth it for the steam room and sauna access (my fav parts!). I’ll definitely be back on a future Seattle trip and days later I’m still feeling great from my massage! Thanks for making my birthday special.
I went in for the 75 minute oxygen facial and it was a great facial. She offered me champagne after, but I don’t drink. The spa itself is outdated and needs a refresh badly. Having said that, it has a steam room and sauna in the women’s locker room which is fantastic. And the pool and hot tub are accessible through the locker room as well. I had the entire pool to myself with spa music playing so that was quite nice. The lounge area had fresh fruit cups, chocolate covered raisins, nuts, and herbal tea with sugar and stevia. They could elevate their lounge snacks, but I was pleased with that. The lounge is spacious with big windows but it’s tired. The supervisor told me that they are going to renovate the lounge and spruce up the locker rooms. At the end of the day, the spa has great amenities, 12$ valet parking when using the spa, AND the services are more affordable than other spas in the city. Overall I loved the vibe. I booked again for April. I was there midday on Thursday. I’m looking forward to their refresh.
This spa was amazing! Not only Siddie help with my stiff back to feel calm and relax! But also Faith the receptionist was very helpful showing me around to find the lounge, pool and hot tub.
I had a deep tissue massage at Elaia Spa and unfortunately the experience did not meet my expectations. The massage consisted almost entirely of sustained elbow pressure, with very minimal strokes and little to no focused work on the areas I specifically requested. It felt incomplete and lacked the precision and technique I would expect from a professional deep tissue massage. At checkout, I was not asked about my experience which felt unprofessional. The spa amenities were also underwhelming. The hot tub is shared with the entire hotel, and there isn’t a proper changing area with a chair or space to comfortably organize belongings, which detracts from the overall spa experience. While the location is nice, the massage quality, service flow, and amenities did not justify the experience for me. I hope this feedback helps set clearer expectations and encourages improvements.
I loved the facial that I had here last week. Isabel did such a wonderful job and provided an amazing face and neck massage with it. And getting to use the spa facilities before and after the facial made for a truly relaxing morning. Looking forward to going back!
I booked a 60-minute massage today and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The massage table warmers were broken and the AC was on, which left me freezing the entire time. Because of this, I was unable to relax or enjoy the massage. The masseuse herself was good and did apologize for the situation, but I was surprised that the spa still serviced clients on a table they already knew was not working properly. That should have been addressed before allowing anyone to book. What should have been a relaxing session was instead stressful, as I spent the whole time worried about being cold. My experience was ruined, and while they offered a 20% discount, I personally felt that was not an acceptable resolution given the circumstances. I truly hope management takes steps to ensure this doesn’t happen to future clients, because relaxation and comfort should be the bare minimum at a spa.
The Facial from Paige was amazing! She has a truly magical touch and I have noticed a significant improvement in my skins elasticity since regular facials and using the Eminence skin care. If you go and have extra time enjoy the relaxation room, sauna and steam before or after your treatment.
