Had such a fun night at Electric Cowboy! The DJs kept the music bumping — a great mix of country and dance hits that got everyone up and moving. I loved that it felt like a real night out with friends: drinks were flowing, people were dancing, and the vibe was lively. The bartenders and staff were nice and welcoming, and I really appreciated how easy it was to get a drink and join in the fun. Even though it gets packed, the energy stays high and it never felt chaotic or rushed. If you’re looking for a fun place to dance, laugh, and just enjoy a night away from the usual routine — Electric Cowboy hits the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🎉🤠

Overall a good time, but be warned it's not very beginner friendly. Not in the sense that the staff/guests were rude to beginner dancers but because the dances they do are complex, and if you don't know what you're doing, you end up sitting on the side watching in awe majority of the time. Earlier hours of the night the floor was pretty crammed but it started to die down into the later hours of the night. Entry was free for first responders, military, and other first responders personnel so that was a huge benefit to the night. Overall a good time but a little more electric than cowboy in terms of dancing and music.

Unfortunately almost every experience I’ve had here has been disappointing. The music and vibe is off, and the overall customer service and management left a lot to be desired. One important thing to note: they hold IDs for guests ages 18–21 at the front desk. If you exit through a different door, it’s easy to forget to retrieve it. I tried coordinating with the manager to pick up a friend’s ID and was told she would be there from 9:30–3:30. Since I live an hour away, I waited in the area for nearly four hours and called multiple times, but never received an answer. It was extremely frustrating, especially after being given a specific timeframe. The communication and follow-through just weren’t there, and the interaction felt dismissive from the start. I understand that places get busy, but better organization and customer service would make a big difference, especially with some brand new honky tonks opening up nearby - like Mavericks. This should be a reason to up your game as an establishment. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t be returning.

We arrived here just cause one friend was there and we wanted to say hi. We immediately walked through the wrong door not knowing it was the exit, even even though it was a big giant door in the middle of the building so everyone would think it’s the front and even when we’re walking in nobody said nothing they just watched us walking in we first walk in trying to find a place to pay and then one of our friends runs into us we started talking and then this dude with a beard who looks like he’s pushing 50 starts yelling at literal people, beards and over 6 foot. Where is your ID you need to leave and then started to kick us out little man syndrome, I suppose but anyways, we’re willing to pay willing to give him our ID and he still want to kick us out anyways, the best part of all is the person who was in there who paid and had her ID he was going to kick her out, too just for talking to us anyways this place sucks go to a real club instead of this dairy of a wimpy kid type club

First issue is they do not accept valid foreign passports as proof of age (even though the person that was trying to enter was about 40). I am a white US citizen but I live in Mexico and a friend came with me to visit family. I wanted to show them the bar I used to frequent. I had friends that used to get in with their passports all the time but apparently the policy changed. They were deneid entry. This seems super racist to me. I mean I travel A LOT and I use my passport to get in everywhere. Texans already have a reputation for being racists so maybe DON'T add to that...? Additionally, this place used to be awesome for all levels of dancers. Now it's been taken over by the good dancers that section off parts of the dance floor. Every single song has a line dance and most of them aren't even good. You're very likely to get kicked in the head by someone doing a flip. They also let people that are clearly intoxicated leave the bar with keys in their hand. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Staff was super friendly, drinks are good prices. The music sucked, everyone just dances as if it was a choreography. Looks like a janky version Cowboys Redriver

Went on a Thursday... This place was our last attempt at trying to find a place that does line dancing within a 45 min drive. It's old style Texas partner country until 9:30 pm ... No line dancing, not even country line dancing is mixed in. At 9:30 the dj will play the electric slide for the old people.. Wow. Then he goes into pure college hip hop line dancing, then switches back to modern partner country, then back to club hip hop, and so forth until 3am . The dj takes requests, but does not always play them. During the whole time we were there he played one modern country line dance, and only towards the beginning of the night. The dance floor is too small. People were bumping into each other all night and some people got a little aggressive about it. After 9:30 it's mostly all college age people (club is 18+). Before that it's mostly older people. Weird vibe overall throughout the place which explains the multitude of bouncers I guess. Would love to find a place that mixed everything all together so it's not so divided. Older people and college age can co exist and like the same stuff if the dj would play the right stuff and if they had a bigger dance floor.
